The serving sizes are well worth the money because the prices are reasonable. The restaurant was clean and I can find nothing to complain about. This will be added as my new favorite BBQ joint.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The customer service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome.
The food was absolutely delicious, and you can really tell they care about the quality of what they serve. On top of that, they went above and beyond by gifting us extra sides and desserts, which was such a thoughtful surprise. They even gave us sandwiches to take for our next visit!
It’s truly a wonderful place with outstanding service and great food. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back! 💗💗💗

Brisket was dried, we ordered 2 moist and 1 lean by the pound and it was all overcooked. Macncheese was ok, but it didn't look like it was fresh, same for the cheesy potatoes, we were disappointed on today's catering order.

This was my first time eating at Mission BBQ and it was an outstanding experience. The food was excellent, but what really made the visit memorable was the service from Morgan. When she heard it was my first time, she brought out a sampler tray of side dishes so I could try them. Everything was fantastic. When she found out I was taking some food home for my fiancée, she even brought an extra cornbread and a BBQ sauce sampler for her to try — completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. Morgan went above and beyond to make my first experience great. Customer service like that is rare and deserves recognition. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Joe and Cathy gave us the best service and food we had ever had . The food was very delicious. Everything was cooked. Perfect. The brisket was delicious and juicy. The ribs were falling off the bone well smoked not overcooked. My Wife had the shrimp 10 out of 10. Everything was delicious. They came to the table with a bunch of Free sides because it was our first time here bless us with amazing service explained about the company. This has to be some of the best service I think I’ve had in Tampa Florida. The sweet tea is to die for as well. Something very very special. I’m about to try to lemonade right now. I’ll come back here again and again. They brought coupons so we can get free sandwiches the next time we come. These people are definitely great with hospitality and customer service. I pray that they be prosperous. before I forget to say the cornbread was something different to die for for sure. If you’re in this side of town in Riverview, you need to stop in this is a must!!

My experience at this location was beyond amazing. The food was perfect from the meats, sides and desserts. One thing that truly made the experience special for my family is Cathy. She was a complete gem. She treated us so well, just like family. I had to ask for a hug afterwards. The food was good enough to bring me back but the service Cathy provided and how special she made us feel cemented us as life long customers. Cathy deserves all the blessings and more.

I go there once a year for free roast beef sandwich on veterans Day. There is no particular reason why I don't go there when I have to pay, but I would. Because the roast beef sandwich that I get on veterans Day is really quite good. Thank you mission BBQ.
Had my first visit to Mission BBQ in Riverview and it definitely will not be my last.
I ordered the two-meat sampler with pulled pork and lean brisket, plus a side of fries. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, and the brisket was flavorful without being heavy. I had fun sampling all of their barbecue sauces before deciding that the Smoky Mountain sauce was my favorite overall. For the brisket, I went with the Tupelo Honey Heat sauce, which added the perfect sweet kick.
What really made the experience stand out was the service. Kathy, who was cleaning tables and checking in with guests, took the time to talk with me and make sure everything was great. When she found out it was my first visit, she surprised me with a full sampler of sides to try, completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. She even included some banana puddin’ that was absolutely amazing.
Great food, great atmosphere, and even better hospitality. Highly recommend if you are in the Riverview area.
