I came here after searching for pho in the area and the first recommendation I found being closed. I placed a 2go order and the service was great however, I’m really disappointed in the dish. I’m not a food critic, and typically don’t complain as I work in the service industry and understand all days aren’t the best but truthfully I couldn’t make it halfway through the bowl which was a let down considering we spent $50 on the order. The shrimp was not cleaned… none of it. I tried breaking off the tails and moving past that. The noodles seemed to be over cooked and just broke apart. It lacked flavor. Maybe just a bad day in the kitchen but overall I was underwhelmed. Sorry :/

$44 dollars for a bowl of cold small Pho, Are you kidding me? What do the owners think, It’s not okay to scam Americans! I understand this is a country of Opportunities, But this is unacceptable! It was my first time and this place, But also my last time!
The food was great, we've been looking for a good spot for pho and I'll save this place for future pho cravings! Worth the 45 mins to get here for us. Fried dumplings were tasty, all ingredient taste fresh.

While I will say that the Pho was really good, they are priced higher than most of the Pho restaurants in this area. There is less meat in the Pho even though they are priced higher. Also the Asian Palmer tea was very sour and was $7.50 per glass. I certainly would not have paid that for a very sour glass of tea that I could barely drink if I had known prior to the waiter suggesting it. The large Pho was almost $20.00 and the tea was $7.50. I don't recommend based on their high prices. Too many other Pho restaurants around with good Pho and less money.

We have been coming here since they first opened and it used to be our favorite pho spot. Unfortunately we have watched it rapid decline the last few years and I fear we have now had our last visit. They change the menu so frequently it makes it confusing each time you come in. Prices have almost doubled since we started coming here. I get everything is more expensive, but on top of that the portion size was almost half what it used to be tonight. We had to tell the waitress our order three times. The Do Chua was actually rancid tasting and we had to wait 15 minutes for our check after asking for it. Its just disappointing this place has slipped so much when it was always one of our top recommendations previously

Rice platter was colder than room temperature and dry. They did warm the plate and later brought a small bowl of hot broth later which made the dish palatable. Dry grilled meat, cold broccoli and room temp rice, not a drop of sauce or juice. Had to ask twice for a fork which I never got. All for $18. Don't go there.

Ordered beef spare ribs & they were dry and burnt. I called to let the manager know & i was told to wait to receive a call to help out with this issue. I never got a phone call back.

Food is very fresh and crisp. If you're sick of feeling greasy and bloated after eating out, go here, the food is refreshing and gives you a lot of energy.
Nancy was very patient when taking my order, attentive, and quick. She helped me with the menu and answered any questions I had.

Was wondering why there were only 2 tables. Will compare to Pho Loc Tho down the road on Boyette. Fresh rolls weren't good. They have limited numbers of appetizers, so we got a chicken Sandwich. Sandwich was OK, but too small for the price. We got 2 Phos. Noddles were scrambling in the soup. Broth was OK nothing special. Size again was smaller than any other Pho places I have been too. We love Pho and we get Pho at least 1 time a week. We always try Pho places wherever we travel to. It seems they have these new metal bowls instead of standard pho bowls and sizes. There were missing condiments such as soy, black pepper, salt etc. on the tables. No forks either. So, had to ask for ordinary things on regular basis. 2 kiddos were running the show.
They were nice, so the 2 stars are from them.
Finally, prices are $2-4 higher than Pho Loc Tho, I could not justify the higher prices for what you get. Less in size and taste. So, I cannot recommend this place vs Pho Loc Tho. Not sure about the 5 stars. Either these people never had Pho anywhere else or the reviews are fake

UPDATED REVIEW:
I used to love coming to Pho Hoang but man, it has really gone downhill. It used to take us 45 minutes total from start to finish but the start takes 45 minutes now! The noodles in the pho is so broken that it’s hard to eat it. The spring rolls are still delicious as ever. The staff are slow to help and serve — and these are on SLOW days, I couldn’t imagine when it’s busy. We haven’t been back and don’t plan to. We rather make it at home or make the drive north for some really good Vietnamese food. Environment is normal noise.

This place has definitely improved a lot, they even got the space next to them to expand the restaurant so that's good news! It's not as crowded as it used to be and the broth and pho has improved a lot. Definitely my go to place for pho in Tampa.
