The food was good. I got a Denver Omelette which was great but the home fries were grocery store frozen potato’s like the ones you would get at a continental breakfast from a hotel. Other than that it was a good experience.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Loved this little cafe! This cafe used to be Ruth’s Steakhouse, but after the owners husband passed away, the wife sold it and it became Ruth’s Cafe. I had the Veggie Wrap with hash browns and a sweet tea. Everything was very clean and excellent customer service from our waitress Nicole. Took home a piece of Strawberry cake, which was not only a huge piece, but it was so very delicious! Very light and fluffy, not heavy at all. Will definitely be coming back!

Quick but quality lunch. Everything I tried was excellent. I had a club sandwich with fruit cup. The vegetables on the sandwich were fresh and ripe and I'm pretty sure they cut the meat themselves which made for a high quality sandwich. 100% would recommend. The fruit cup was all fresh too with strawberries, blueberries, grapes and bananas which I could tell they had sliced the banana when I ordered it because it wasn't brown and mushy and I appreciated that level of attention and service. 100% would recommend. I had an overall great experience, it was fast and friendly service, great food and the price was great. I will definitely be back to try other things because everyone's plate looked good!

Delicious! Ruth's is a small family Cafe that serves delicious food! I personally recommend the biscuits and gravy but if you ask my kids the pancakes are the way to go. Highly recommend a visit.

This place was recommended to me today and oh man, this is a hidden jewel but definitely a favorite among the locals. The service was pretty amazing, although my food was to go…my daughter and I ordered the chocolate chip hot cakes, French toast, bacon and sausage. This food was delicious and like it was made with love in mema’s kitchen. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend ?

This place used to be awesome! Now it’s just a disappointment. Since the last year me and my family have been going here, it’s been TERRIBLE. A few weeks ago, we tried it out again. The tea had a slight white tint to it and it tasted like old cream was put in it! (Like a half and half cream). We ordered runny scrambled eggs, and they gave us regular slightly over cooked eggs. Hash browns aren’t cooked fully. The food quality is just falling apart. Customer service was horrendous..After our meal, the owner came at us and told us to go to a different location if we don’t like their cooking, and started going off about our complaining and how we’ve (me and my grandpa) been complaining almost every week! This made no sense, because he hadn’t been in 2 months.. And if we did go, it was normally once every 2-3 weeks. Maybe once a month we’d go.When you have to tell people how to do their jobs, you know that it is bad. It’s not that hard to cook an egg! This place can’t take constructive criticism! Like I had stated, the waiter we had didn’t like we when reported that our food and drinks weren’t good, she actually yelled at us because we thought the sweet tea tasted terrible. To the new owner, who I believe is Mr. Mike, I believe you should actually try to improve this restaurant. It’s falling apart, and you need to train your staff how to properly cook food to make it taste appealing, and maybe tell your waiters not to catch an attitude with customers.Great job, this place lost customer, and plenty more.This, once great “mom and pop” style city diner, is falling apart!Update response!! : I am simply mad because the fact that the chefs here cannot simply cook an egg how we requested. At the time, there were 4 or so other groups in the steakhouse. The customer service has been decent, but the last time we went, everyone had an attitude and the staff were lacking quality. We DO NOT complain everyday, we come at least once a month, and at the time, we hadn’t been in 2-3 months. We tip well, and try to be reasonable, but our last ever visit was the worst. If we simply had a better owner, than some random in-experienced person, this place would be better! Everything tasted like it had been sitting for days, quit lacking and actually try to run this place like the decent cafe it was before. - To the response of the owner
