Eating here changed my life. Literally. They fed me some undercooked shrimp, by the time I realized and spit as much as I could out, it was too late. What I thought was just food poisoning turned out to be appendicitis and my appendix burst. One $70,000 EMERGENCY SURGERY and stay at the hospital later and my digestive tract will never be the same.

I just wish I had listened to my gut feeling that was telling me the quality of this place was declining.

We visited this restaurant in January for my wife’s birthday and had a great experience. The portions were generous, the pricing was fair, and everything felt in line with what you’d expect from a hibachi dinner.

However, when we returned for my birthday, our experience was completely different. This time, we were seated with another group who appeared to be regulars and clearly knew the chef. Unfortunately, it was very obvious that they received much larger portions and were consistently served first, while our servings were noticeably smaller.

For example, two small New York strip steaks were split between our four steak orders (three adult and one child), with one of the other guests also receiving a portion from that same amount—but they were given significantly more than any of us. The same thing happened with the chicken, rice, and other dishes: large scoops went to the regulars, while we received much smaller portions. By the end of the meal, there was little to no food left for leftovers, which is unusual for hibachi and a big contrast to our first visit.

Overall, we left disappointed. What was once an enjoyable experience felt unfair and not worth the cost this time. Spending $150 for what felt like $30 worth of food, especially on a birthday, was very disheartening. Sadly, this second visit left us questioning whether we would return again.

The shrimp roll wasn’t good though but overall great experience!

Their hibachi and sushi are amazing. We only do the sit down side not the hibachi side and it's worth it to have less noise. The happy hour special is fantastic.

I don’t know about the food because after an hour (with reservation) we still had not been served…not even started the hibachi. We’ve lived it the Tampa Bay Area for 8 years and this is worst service we’ve received. We left as we were promised it would only be 10 more minutes. I offered to pay for the 1 beer and 2 ice teas we had…and they actually accepted the payment instead of offering an apology. Will not be back and I would encourage others to avoid it.

Don’t Go 🥹! Worst service ever. Made a reservation for 6 people at 6:30 PM today. Got seated at 6:40 PM and at 7:30 PM, We still did not have a chef at our table despite all the other tables that came after us getting service and a chef. I asked numerous times how long it would be and I kept being told 5 or 10 minutes. Hostess was rude and told me that we could just go. She was yelling at me and she should be fired. Eventually, we walked out because who wants to sit there with no food and watch everyone eat for an entire hour.

I will never be back. Ever. 🤢If you’re the owner, I suggest getting better staff, getting involved and not overbooking when you don’t have staff.
