I've eaten here in the past, always through the drive thru. I came inside with my husband and used the kiosk, it was simple to order. Someone greeted us kindly with a beautiful smile, which is refreshing. The food didn't take long to arrive at our table and it looked great! I wish I had taken a picture but we dug in, and it tasted good. The shake was delicious too. On the receipt there's a survey you can take for a free shake! Staff seems to interact in a friendly manner with each other. We'll be back with our kids :)

if there was a way for me to give negative stars i would. each and every time i get food her it’s never cooked all the way through my order is never correct and its poor service. i’ve called recently complaining about my order AGAIN bc no one wants to cook the food correctly (i had food poisoning from steak ‘n shake ) and they asked if i wanted my order remade and i declined so quickly. instead i asked for my re fund to be back on my card. they said it takes 4-5 business days. guys it’s been a week now. first yall play with my food, then yall get a mf sick and NOW yall ain’t tryna give me my money back?? i even asked for it back in cash just to avoid this situation!

The inside is clean and neat and indoor service is great, however I ordered drive through and I ordered a peppermint milkshake, and the cashier asked to confirm and I confirmed. I get a burger with crispy onions and I get handed a plain chocolate shake and a ton of raw onions.

I normally have little to no problems with this location as it’s my local Steak N Shake, however since Hurricane Milton the issues have been incredibly prevalent. I was under the impression it was originally due to vendor issues because of nationwide natural disasters but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Today I ordered a Butter Steak Burger which is known for coming with grilled onions, and I tried to order a Grilled Cheese with grilled onions added and they said they didn’t have the grilled onions. When I asked to clarify if that meant they didn’t have the grilled onions at all they said they had the onions for the burger but for the grilled cheese it was a different kind of onion. On good faith I ordered my burger and after a long wait that left me being handed cold fries I just went home due to being pregnant and starving and didn’t check my food. I got home and found that my burger had no onions whatsoever and was missing the butter sauce or whatever it is - which leads me to believe that they never had onions to begin with. I’m actually very disappointed because like I said - since Hurricane Milton over a month ago this location has had multiple issues, with no end in sight or potential attempts to improve service.

There is a machine where you have to place your order even if you're gonna sit down at a table and eat the only time you see the waitress is when she brings you.The food from the back itself serve drinks. I go to the steak and shake.Because it's a good little restaurant to sit down but not anymore. Scratch another one off the list that fell to automated bull. I don't use self check out at the gas stations.I don't use it at the grocery stores.I don't use it at home.Depot , I don't want to use it when I buy my food either

Disrespectful employees. I placed an order at 11:15 pm today 11/7/2024 on the app, paid for it, and it said it would be ready at 11:20 pm. I arrived at the drive thru 5 minutes later and an automated voice said they were closed (40 minutes earlier than listed on the app and website). But I saw someone working on the grill before I pulled up so I went to the drive thru window to be helped. A female employee saw me, looked in my face and cursed out loud while shaking her head and then walked off ignoring me. I waited for a minute after that and they proceeded to hide and act like I wasn’t there. I’ve never been treated like that and won’t stand for it ever, I already wrote corporate. Don’t waste your time here.

This Steak n Shake is my go to restaurant in Riverview and I drove from Big Bend Rd. My burger was extremely cold, tasted freezer burned and my fries were cold as well tonight. The food is usually good, hot and fresh that’s why I decided to go tonight (Wed, Nov. 6th around 11pm) The manager on duty looked lost, and the cook needed to be sent home because he couldn’t follow simple order directions. I gave it three stars for the service because the young lady that took my order was very nice and professional. Very disappointed and dissatisfied in the food I received for my money.

I went to Steak ‘n Shake excited to try the Butterfinger milkshake, but I was seriously disappointed! I ordered it expecting chunks of Butterfinger throughout, but when I got it, it was just a plain vanilla shake with barely any Butterfinger pieces in it. If I wanted a plain vanilla shake, I would have ordered one. The shake was nothing like what I expected at all. same with my bf’s cookies and cream. like wth

I used to like steak and shake but tonight I went in picked up my food it took 25 minutes to get. Got home and finished my steak burger within 5 minutes of finishing it i threw it up right back into the toilet. Good ole food poisoning. I miss what steak and shake used to be. Also if the manager wants to reply, I'll send some pictures of the puked steak burger. Let me know in your reply.
