Clean, and fun.
Kids had a great time, nice family day out. Daylen behind the games counter was very polite and extremely patient with our kids indecision. Daylen needs a raise!
An excellent Walmart I always find what I'm looking for and very good organization
BRING MONEY... alot of it. Feed your kids before you go too - and the people next to us stunk like weed. Otherwise, fun.
Arcade, bowling alley, bar and restaurant. Good food, good selection of beers. Helpful, friendly staff.
I’ve been to this bowling alley three times, and while it has its upsides, there were definitely a few letdowns. On the plus side, the location is convenient for us, just a short drive from home, which makes it easy to stop by. The arcade was fun, but I was disappointed by how many games were out of service. On the bright side, the pricing was reasonable—games ranged from $0.50 to $2.25, not including the VR experience, which we skipped. However, a few machines seemed to cheat us out of wins, which was frustrating.
Now, onto the bowling experience. We walked in and were next in line, but the woman at the register disappeared without saying anything. No “I’ll be with you in a moment” or even a quick acknowledgment. That’s something I really dislike, and as you’ll see in my other reviews, customer service is a big deal to me, so this knocked a star off for me. After a few minutes, we finally got her attention and added our names to the waitlist. She initially told us it would be a 30-minute wait, but we ended up waiting over 45 minutes. Thankfully, the arcade games helped pass the time, and eventually, we were ready to bowl.
The pricing for bowling was pretty steep—$59 for three people for just one hour. While I understand it’s a Saturday night, that still felt pretty outrageous. I can’t recall paying that much at any other bowling alley before. When we got to our lane, the system kept glitching and resetting between players, which was a huge annoyance. Our hour was likely cut short to under 50 minutes due to those delays.
The one bright spot was that my son had a great time, which is the most important thing to me. That said, after this experience, I won’t be returning. I’ll head to Pin Chasers in Tampa next time, where for $52 we could have gotten two hours of bowling and included shoe rentals or Main Event in Wesley Chapel.
On a side note, I heard from a local Facebook group that a fight broke out shortly after we left, and there was another incident a month ago where someone was shot in the parking lot. Apparently, crime has become a real concern at this location, which is troubling—especially since I had my 6-year-old with me. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning to visit.
Clean and friendly staff
love the alley and their staff, Olivia is an amazing bartender!
We moved back to Florida in 2018 and were so happy to find this place right down the road from us! Food is always delicious and good sized portions. I never have had an issue with service anywhere in the building. This is a go to when we have friends and family in town because you not only have bowling, but pool, darts, game room, bathrooms on both sides, and even a cool little private bowling area with they're own private bar!! Even though we have never held a party here, it looks like so much fun!! Thank you for being a staple of fun in Riverview!
We recently hosted my granddaughter’s 10th birthday party at The Alley at South Shore on Sunday, February 23. Our experience with the billing and customer service afterward was extremely disappointing.
As required, we paid a $50 deposit in advance to book the event. However, after reviewing the final receipt at home, we realized that the deposit was not deducted from the total bill. When we called to bring this to their attention, we were told that instead of a refund, we could only receive a gift card for their mistake. We understood the deposit was non-refundable, but that should not mean we are charged twice.
Between my corporate event and this party, I’ve given The Alley over $2,000 in business in less than five months. Despite that, the manager I spoke with was unhelpful and unwilling to assist. Instead of handling the issue, he told me I had to call back the events department the next day between 11 AM and 5 PM—while I’m at work. As a manager, he should have either resolved a simple $50 refund or at the very least taken my information and had the correct department follow up.
Additionally, the final bill my handicapped mother was given to review did not include an itemized breakdown—just a total and tax amount. Had I not reviewed the receipt myself later, we would have never caught the error.
If you’re planning an event here, be sure to ask for an itemized receipt and double-check that your deposit is properly applied to avoid being overcharged. The lack of customer service and accountability from management was extremely disappointing.

I really enjoy this place. Has a great bar and bartenders. I bowled Mondays, Fridays and now Wednesday. The only downfall is the breakdowns and pins off spot while bowling. They seem to always a good person that helps that counter. Over the years I think they found an excellent gal now. Always happy and super friendly. It’s funny I always get change and she’s has the best smile on her face. (Kyah the other kid said was her name). Now all we need is a beer special while bowling. The place seems always busy so call before you stop out. They do have a private room with like 8 lanes for events. I do wish the shot was a little better but using a machine isn’t always the answer if you don’t maintain it!
My experience with Kyah makes my whole time better while bowling and she’s always smiling!

We went tonight as something to do with my husband his boss and a co worker we had a fun time until the idiots started fighting the workers just stood around and watched I was screaming for someone to help and no one intervened why are not the cops here patrolling after the incident of the police officer that was shot? I saw a man holding a child and didn’t think a bowling alley is the place for this kind of behavior and nothing was done 🙄
IT was amazing great fun wonderful and great alley to go to it's a must go to
