This bbq is excellent. We eat all around florida and Tampa. The ribs are the best. Falls off the bone and well seasoned. The chicken is juicy. The pull pork is excellent. This was our first time here. We would come back. Well done

I am from Texas and good brisket is when the only thing you need utensils wise is a plastic fork. That is the test, and this place passed with flying colors. Amazing brisket and the beans were spot on, only thing missing was Shiner Bock on draft!!!!
Terrible experience last night. I am a frequent customer and last night was so disappointing I will not be returning. Placed order through the drive thru. After paying for order I was told there was no chicken available after sitting and waiting for about 10 min. When I asked if I could replace the chicken order for wings I was told I had to be refunded a portion of the price for the chicken and purchase wings separately.If there was no chicken available, I would have left and purchased dinner somewhere else. This should have been disclosed at the beginning of my initial order.I sat waiting for food for 35 min total last night. It was so bad that 2 cars behind me started blowing car horns because they were annoyed at how long it was taking. Eventually 2 cars behind me got out of the line.The waitresses never came to the window to explain the extended delay. I was stuck because I had already paid. Had I not paid I would have left also.To make matters worse when I got my food finally the food was cold and the wings were burned. The waitress was not very friendly and still did not explain the long wait time.I wasted on $50.00 last night. Not cool. I used to brag on Willie Jewell's food. Not anymore.

what a joke. I ordered the "lean" brisket for delivery. the meat I received was at a minimum 70% fat. I expect some, but this is ridiculous. as for sides, generic flavorless mush mac and cheese. the slaw was ok. won't waste my time or money eating here again.

Well, I got to say I was very disappointed once again with this place. Tried it last year and did not have a good experience. Figured I would give this location another shot and was very let down. It's very disappointing because the Willie Jewells in the Villages is amazing. The restaurant itself is big, very clean and very nice. The service was ok as the girl taking the order seemed bored and not wanting to be there. I ended up asking for the order to go. The restaurant was completely empty and not busy, so the food came out lighting fast. Took the food home and looked forward to digging in the bbq. I ordered 1/2 lb brisket moist, 1/2 lb pulled pork, and 1/2 rack of ribs platter with fried pickles. The brisket that should have been moist was a huge disappointment as it was definitely not moist and lacked any flavor whatsoever. The pulled pork was a little dry, but ok, the ribs were super dark, dry, and tasteless. The fried pickles were the best part of this experience they were absolutely tasty. I just wish the portion size was slightly larger. Not sure I will try again as I am 0 for 2 with this location. Wish it was different. ?

Based off of the reviews I expected much more. I called in a to go order the person on the phone sounded miserable. You could definitely tell she was over her whole job at this point. I pull up to the drive thru (crickets) Pulled up to the window nothing!!! I didn’t want to be rude and knock on the window so I drove back around and surely enough they were taking someone’s order. So I pull around to the window, again, just sitting there. Had to call them on the phone and ask if I could grab my pick up through the drive thru and let them know I was at the window. The food was an absolute huge disappointment. Fast food barbecue is what it taste and looks like. Dry, no flavor, overall the worst bbq I have eaten. Small portions. And everyone who talks about how good the food is has never had real bbq or it’s a paid review lol. Konan’s in Tampa off of North Hubert has pretty decent bbq if you’re ever in the area. I wouldn’t recommend this place or will I be back.
