I ordered from this jamaican restaurant got home tasted the food. As a chef I know food well and this wasn't good at all. The rice gummy, the oxtails tough like from an old Ox. Corn good cabbage average. I'll stick with Foodtown for a good Jamaican plate. Not worth the time or cost. I don't recommend this place at all.

Good food but inconsistent on portions, one day a generous amount then i come back to a lot less of what I like in the first place of even coming there. My thing is and will always be The Oxtails! Too little of that and I probably won't come back!! And this is Exactly the way I feel right now

Idk how it’s rated 4.8 stars. Mac and cheese was oily and over seasoned like they were seasoning chicken & my oxtail was tough 😭

Everything , I do not recommend ribs had a rotten taste, Mac & cheese felt foamy collard greens tasted like canned greens & bbq don’t taste homemade! Good also made me feel weird! I went to this restaurant thinking it was McCrays even though I didn’t like them either…. I give this place a zero wasting my money on garbage!!!!! Very slow & does not gives demure!

I was genuinely impressed by the service, flavor, portion sizes, and overall value. Feeling indecisive due to my hunger, I ended up ordering several different dishes, anticipating something truly remarkable. My favorite Jamaican dish is oxtails, and they did not disappoint. When I opened the box, I was taken aback; many restaurants only give you about five bones for a large order, but this plate was generously filled! In fact, by the time I took the picture, I had already enjoyed 4-5 bones. Everything was delicious, especially the rice and peas, cabbage, mac and cheese, spicy beef patties, and plantains. The cornbread was fantastic, tasting more like cornbread cake! The jerk chicken had the smoky flavor and seasoning I love, although it was a bit wetter and cooked longer than I prefer. The curry chicken was flavorful, but I wished for a bit more gravy. This isn’t a complaint, as everything was excellent. The location is a cozy "hole in the wall," and the woman who served us was kind and attentive. If you decide to visit, don't miss the 2-for-1 specials. I have plenty of food to enjoy for days!

I am not a last minute person and I definitely do not like to order any food from a restaurant that's getting ready to close. I've worked for many companies and to have to prepare once you've cleaned it not nice. So that's due to consideration of the workers. But I recently visited this place and I have to tell you all about. I didn't know what time they closed on a Sunday so I called. The Woman that answered was super nice and professional. Once she told me what time they were closing I said nevermind. She insisted that she take my order depending if course of what I wanted to order. So I took a chance and ran to pick it up. Y'all my first time in the location. It was clean, the young lady was so nice greeting me. The food was hot and plenty!

Food was flavored well, not overly seasoned. I order 2 plates brown stewed chicken and oxtails with a side of Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. I will definitely go again. I thanked them for taking my order at the last minute and answering the phone. Most businesses don't and I get it. But communication is key. My daughter loves their food and she is PICKY ?.

So, if you're ever in the Blue Heron Blvd area in the plaza right behind that KFC and want some good Jamaica cuisines. Try This place called Big Bites! Definitely speaks for it's name.

It was my birthday so my friend and I went to get takeout. The staff was very friendly and down to earth., some of the nicest people you ever want to meet and I ordered oxtails and when the owner asked if I'd like plantains or cornbread I said plantains and my friend said cornbread and the owner said good choice so I was like wait I'm not sure which one I'd like better so she ask me if it was my first time there and I said yes, she told me she was gonna give me both . That was so kind of her. We ordered two drinks and she gave the drinks to us for free for my birthday. That was Birthday not expected but it was truly appreciated. The food was delicious ? I most definitely will be visiting again soon

Me and my family got the curry and brown chicken plates for 8.50 each for a special deal. When we got home we found out that we had 2 oxtail plates instead of brown chicken. If we didn’t like oxtails I would be upset of course.But we got them for 8.50 when the oxtails were around 18 dollars. The food was a 10/10. The oxtails were very flavorful and tender and the chicken was amazing. For the price and amount is fantastic as well. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Always passed by but never stopped in, saw a promo, so I ordered from UberEats. Man, that brown stew chicken meal was amazing. Crazy portion, fall off the bone tender, just the veggies were already great, and can't forget that delicious cornbread!

Oxtail meal came with a large portion of rice and oxtail. There are more bones than meat. The vegetables help tone down all that carb and protein. The star of this dish is the corn bread. It is moist, full of corn flavor, and it is sticky.

Delicious food. The owner is very friendly. Must try bbq chicken, jerk chicken and ginger beer.
