Cajun And Crustaceans

Ordered two chicken sandwiches, they had been sitting around too long, and were soggy. I took them back, the manager told me that that's the way they are. I asked for two more, they were a little better, but not really fresh. Not impressed.

It took about 3 hours for us to get off the cruise ship, go through customs, get our car, and start heading to our next destination. This Popeye's was just about a mile from the Port of West Palm Beach. It was the perfect place to stop and get something before we got out on the freeway for our long drive.

Got crispy spiced chicken wings and coleslaw. Wanted more but my stomach couldn't hold it ! Next T I M E !

Hard to believe but yes, my first time eating Popeye's. Upon entering I was very impressed how clean this place was, needless to say I needed a few minutes reviewing the menu; all new to me. Mardi settled on a wing dinner with dirty rice, I went with a 3 pc dark meat chicken dinner with red beans and rice. Had to wait a few minutes because the spicy chicken wasn't ready, no big deal. The order taker was extremely pleasant and helpful. About 10 mins later she brought the food to the table, warned us "careful its pretty hot, asked if we needed anything and off she went so we could enjoy. The flavor of the chicken was excellent, the batter a tad heavy, maybe I should have got the two pc dinner. The red beans and rice was fantastic, very tasty. Very impressed with the manager coming around and asking if everything was alright. The flavor stayed with me for awhile. Mardi didn't care for her dirty rice so I took it and mixed it into mine. Definitely will go back, I hope all of the other places are as good as this one. Very pleased customer.
