La Salsa Verde Takeout

The Latin food may be good but the cheeseburger is the bottom of the barrel. There are a lot of good burgers on the island and Seaside usually has the best combination, meat quality with fries. The cheeseburger here was the world's cheapest frozen meat Patty with the print on it that you can see and it was served Gray. The bacon was good the bun was covered in butter which helped out but probably the second worst if not the worst burger that I've had in a decade. They're total input cost was less than $2 and with tip it cost $15. The fries were hot but the world's cheapest steak fries that are good only when they're hot and there were less than a handful. I would have done much better at castaways with an order of onion rings and any of their burgers. I was also very specific and had a few questions and they did the best they could but the frozen meatish patty is a deal breaker.

I wasn’t going to do a review but this is my second time going here and its a huge disappointment! I tried to give them another chance but they failed miserably!

I ordered the elotes and quesadillas. Literally everything here is either microwaved or recooked, absolutely nothing is fresh. They cooked frozen corn on the grill, and thru cheese in it, gross, it was soggy with no flavor, probably because it FROZEN CORN that has melted. ? I asked for salsa he told me I had to pay because the quesadillas come with a sauce, like so what, seeing how your food has been gross I rather have a back up in case this too is nasty! Just spent $20 but I gotta pay for sauce to eat with the food??‍♀️ the rice is cooked in the microwave no flavor, the beans are bland no flavor you can tell they are a low quality canned beans. Ive had food truck that taste better than this! The fact they have a 4.7 is astonishing ? probably because the customers are mainly hungry contractors that’s willing to eat anything. Like FL has no idea what good food is, seriously!!! I will never be back here, Chipotle taste better than this, and the salsa is free, and ingredients are fresh and taste better, I never knew Latin cuisine in FL could be this bland, take me back to TX

UPDATE- the thing about cooking food in front of us is we can watch what you’re doing! And record! She literally took frozen corn out and thru it in a skillet, that’s what made me look that way. Thank you for coming in the comments trying to snap at every customer that dislikes your disgusting food! I guess warming up old tostadas and chips on a grill was a fact?????‍♀️ tourist eat anything because they’re always drunk! My child can make better food than what y’all think yall are doing! Wouldn’t fees this food to an animal on the street! A waste of money

Fast and very generous portions !! I had the birria tacos and wow, flavorful and really nice , with a wonderful consomé and hot sauce that bit my lip !!

Every time I eat here I feel this compelling, personal responsibility to leave a good review lol been here a handful of times for tacos but today I tried the birra taco for a first, along with my as-usual shrimp tacos as well .... All I can say is yummmm, I'll be back on Tuesday for that birra special it's so good. And everyone there is so nice too, even though it's to-go they are so nice on the phone. I just really like that this is a local joint that's not catering to the flocking tourists of the island, great food for a great price let's keep it going...if your a tourist (which 8/10 you probably are lol) you should go here...born and raised on singer and this is just better.

OMG! I've been dreaming about the birria tacos since I had them last week. They were absolutely delicious. There were 3 tacos and the consommé! I also ordered a shrimp street taco, I ate that first and wished I bought more than one. I'm looking forward to going again. I encourage everyone who appreciates great food to eat there or place your order online and pickup!

Can't really go wrong. Tacos are flavourful and filling, I like the double tortilla :) especially for a reasonable price compared to the other touristy joints in the area that are mehh and more than double the price, it's for sure a good deal. I live in the neighborhood and sometimes call to order last minute, if it's before 10 they still take my order which is nice of them considering I know they are closing up and prob could say no. Little things like that make people want to come back and leave good reviews. I'm all about hyping up good customer service ??

The food was delicious very authentic. I had 2 shrimp tacos and 1 Al pastor. Their homemade green chile sauce was the best. Plus it's close to the beach so I sat down and ate fire AF tacos on the sand watching the waves. What more can you ask for
