Pleasantly Surprised…I stopped at Arby’s to grab a quick bite to eat on Sunday, September 4. A young man wearing black prescription glasses and a grey solid knitted hat took my order. The young man was courteous as well as polite. What made the visit pleasantly surprising for me, the young man asked to see my military ID. Now mind you our conversation had only been the standard pleasantries and the young man taking my order.I asked, “what made you ask to see my military ID?”“I see you are using your USAA card to pay for your meal and we offer a 10% military discount,” he replied with a smile.I did not know Arby's offered a military discount. I like the fact that the young man was vigilant and wanted to save me some money. The management at the location did a wonderful job in his training!

I rarely stop at fast foods but this day I was wanting fish. I saw their sign two for seven dollars so I stopped. They do have a good fish sandwich, no complaints...Stop by on your way to the Arby's in Rockledge.
