Of course we had visit Garden Party vegan cafe(owned by new Outlaw Pottery students Jessica and Dante) for a snack. The strawberry scone was delicious! And I grabbed a packaged Marrakesh Carrot Salad to take home. Check them out!”

“Thai 4 You 3824 Murrell Rd., Rockledge, FL 32955 4 Stars With 59 years under my cyclopean belt, I've seen food phases come and go. Some last and eventually become part of the dining landscape, ie, Frozen Yogurt. Thai food has been around for a long time, but it seems to be getting a steroid shot in the keister as Thai joints are popping up with such frequency that you can often find them next to each other and across the street! More often than not, these are also hybrid eateries that serve Thai food and Sushi. I've reviewed more than a handful of these types of restaurants. It is not common to find one that is dedicated to only Thai food. Thai 4 You, corny name and all, is such a place. I was greeted warmly and seated immediately. Almost as soon as I sat down, Adam approached my table and informed me that he would be my waiter for the repast. Adam has a great personality and is a pro all the way. He is also the owner. I asked Adam for the Thai 4 You Special and some Chicken Green Curry (my Thai food test dish). Before too long, and again, I do time these things, Adam returned with our Thai fare. The aromas caressing my olfactory nerve made it difficult for me to snap the before pictures, as all I wanted to do was scarf down. However, like Adam, I too am a professional and was here for a job, not to stuff my pie hole. As you can see, everything looks delicious; now, let's see if the looks are deceiving. My first taste was of Adam's Thai 4 You Special. This is a delectable dish of stir-fried shrimp and beef tossed with a special house Thai sauce, served over a pile of mixed vegetables. The shrimp was juicy and tender, the beef was cooked to perfection and the veggies were delicious. All in all, this was a better-than-average representation of Thai cuisine. Truly tasty on the tastebuds. While the Green Curry sauce was not as creamy as I usually receive in other Thai places, the flavors were definitely popping on the taste buds and far above average. I found the chicken to be tender and succulent, while the veggies were cooked to perfection once again. Whoever was operating the wok in the back certainly knew what they were doing. It was obvious that they didn't just wok in off the street. Thai food is known for its spectacular flavor combinations, which often feature a balance of sweet and tongue-blasting hot. Unlike other spicy foods, one never loses the taste to the spice. Adam served up a prime example of this. I found the Green Curry to hit the palate with heat and flavor. I do love me some good Thai food! The Big Boy says, “It's better than your average Thai slop house and if I were in Rockledge hankering for some Thai food, I would make a beeline to Thai 4 You.””

“The pb&jelly thai wings were great! The hush puppies were about standard. Everything came out hot. Menu is a bit pricey for the offerings, kinda limited choices. Alcohol was good with nice pours! Visually it's in old and you can tell but that's the allure of a haunted restaurant. Totally disappointed I didn't feel the spiritual, however I did have nostalgic childhood memories with the hanging plants above because my deceased mom had tons of plants on our house before she passed (spider plants) Great feeling!”

“Da Sushi 634 Barnes Blvd., Rockledge, FL 32955 4.5 Stars Yep, I hear ya. Rockledge, FL, is known for many things, but fine dining is not one of them. When Da Sushi came up on my random name generator, I steeled myself for two things: facing down my fear of OTB and strengthening my intestinal fortitude as I was not sure what to expect. My fears were not assuaged as we pulled into the plaza looking for the sign. We couldn't see it, we did however, see the giant dope shop and the wig/weave store inhabiting the strip. All we needed was a Dollar General on the out parcel next to a car wash and we know we are in the boonies of FL. Upon finally spotting the sign for the eatery, I looked at my companion, thinking this was not going to be pleasant. Once we passed the threshold of Da Sushi, we were transported from a dingy strip mall only missing open-air drug sales to a fine dining oasis that is jaw-dropping in its depth and breadth. Seriously, this place was absolutely gorgeous. Kudos to the owner(s) on their decorating aptitude. Jordan is our waiter. Jordan was as reticent as a homunculus in answering my questions on the menu and, quite frankly, was an unpleasant cad. That said, I did put in an order for the Otoro Nigiri (Fatty tuna), Tuna hand-roll and the coup de grace was their $30 roll known as “The Exclusive.” Relaxing while Jordan ran our order in, I took some pics of the place drank in the exquisite decorating, and soaked up the fine dining vibe emitting from the environs. Jordan's return snapped me out of my mindless ruminations and back to the job at hand. I grabbed my chopsticks and proceeded to dig in. First up on the Big Boy's palate was the Otoro. This is one of the top-tier items to be found in any place offering raw fish. It should be fresh, creamy (almost buttery) and practically melt on your tongue. This did all of that and more. This was a superb slice of fish, and it was all I could do to move on; I did eat both pieces, however. I then turned my punctilious palate to my sushi shack barometer, the ever-popular Tuna Hand Roll. For the first time in a long time, this was properly executed and not at all fishy. The last few sushi places were not this fresh. The tuna was a nice shade of red, the rice was perfectly steamed and it was rolled with obvious care and love. Sushi is like Ricky Bobby. If it ain't fresh, it's trash. Sadly, I found myself at the end of my tasty tabi in the Land of the Rising Sun as I faced the last item for today, their Exclusive roll. For $30 bucks, I half expected a “happy ending” but then realized it's this piss-poor economy we are living in and shrugged it off. The roll itself was a happy ending to my taste buds, and it was, like the previous foodstuffs, amazing. Consisting of spicy salmon, spicy tuna, fake snow crab, crawfish salad, cream cheese avocado, and jalapeno all wrapped snugly in soy paper, then fried tempura style, topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo, honey wasabi sauce, masago (smelt eggs), scallions and some crunchy bits. This had it all and then some. What a delectable delight to end my meal. The flavors combined into a wonderful roll. The Big Boy says, “This is a one-stop shopping strip. Buy a wig, get some cheeba and dine on some out-of-this-world salt-water bait!””

I give the staff so much credit for being so kind, accepting, funny, caring, sweet, and so attentive! I love all the different events that they have during the week! Everyone who comes into this establishment is great and kind! It’s always an awesome experience going to imperial! The drinks are really awesome and I love how they have Kratom and their premium Kratom! I enjoy how they have a lot of different flavored syrups for customers to try out! “Típico Café Latino (Típico Latino Restaurant), 566 Barton Boulevard, Rockledge, Florida- 5-Stars Although the Hispanic population in Brevard County as of 2022 is a mere 11.6%, their restaurants must make up 35% of the restaurant inventory. Now that I have dined at so many Latin establishments, I feel I am starting to discern the good, the bad, and the horrific. Recently I found myself in Rockledge walking into the unassuming Tipico Café Latino. The place didn't look like much to me at first, and since the most obvious definition of "típico" in English means "typical," I was concerned. Later when I found out that "típico" when referring to food is more about how such a dish represents the most famous local flavor of a region, the name made perfect sense. The food prepared here is the real deal and it's truly outstanding. Don't let the ambiance of this small saloon deter you. Elise is the owner and personally sees to the comfort of her guests. She and her chef are from the Dominican Republic, and their website states that Dominican cuisine has been influenced by indigenous Dominicans as well as settlers from Spain, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Canary Islands, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti (next door on the shared island of Hispaniola), and Hungary. They further indicate that flavor contributions have been made by Sephardic Jews, slaves brought to the Republic by the French in the 17th Century, and freed Blacks who fled from the United States in the 19th Century. From the Menú Típica Latino, I ordered the Típico Fried Platter, and I strongly suggest you do the same. It has everything: Fried Pork, Fried Chicken, Longaniza (Spanish sausage), Salami, Fried Cheese, Casava, and Tostones. Amazing! As the Dominican Republic is only 57 miles southeast of Cuba, it is not surprising that there are also a few expressly classic Cuban dishes on the menu. One of these is the Ropa Vieja/ Shredded Stewed Beef and Vegetables. The rice accompanying this "típica" Cuban dish was cooked perfectly. The beef itself was so tender, its juices so flavorful, that for a moment I experienced zoanthropy, becoming one of Pavlov's dogs salivating just remembering this experience. I pull myself together, remembering I am a human man, and wipe the slobber off my jowls with a towel. THIS IS A BIG BOY MUST TRY! The Big Boy says, "Go see Elise, try the Típico Fried Platter, and, oh yeah, bring your appetite."”

“I’m not new to Jeremiah’s. I moved recently from Kissimmee fl, I used to frequent the Hunters creek location on a regular basis. We stopped in to this store grab some ice cream. The young woman that helped us was so darn delightful; she made my experience a 20/10! She was attentive, eager to help, she listened to my order and asked clarification questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and what’s wild is she made it seem as though it made her day to be so attentive to the details! Like she seemed happy about being so on top of it!
It was so refreshing to be around! As a mom I rarely receive that sort of attention! It made my damn night. So Izzy! You are my favorite! You deserve a raise! I hope life blesses you double the joy you give others!

“This has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for a few years now :) after all this time I’ve never received anything I wasn’t happy with quality is always top notch and tasty. Prices really arnt bad too which is a huge plus. I love all their soups definitely recommend trying them! They’re the only place in this state I could find with decent hot and sour soup haha.”

“Update: after a year I’m still driving to this location. Seeing the baristas every morning is truly something I look forward to. Everybody there is amazing. But, from my husband and I here are some specific well deserved shout outs:
Andrea, Noelle, Morgan, Daniel, Emilio, you are are absolute gems and we cannot thank you enough for always being a bright moment in our day.

I’ve got multiple locations that are relatively the same distance from my home. This one is technically the farthest, but I go to this one every time. Which is far too often for my pocket book, but that’s not a review topic.

I worked at Starbucks for slightly under a decade. Instead of working at a place and never going again, my love for Starbucks is still there. As an ex partner going to Starbucks is always hit or miss, because there’s a part of you that is always watching and it’s easy to get frustrated when things don’t make sense or you see that they’re not following Starbucks standards.

Which is why I always wind up at this location. I know high leadership has changed in recent years and with that changes have been made to bring back the old feel of Starbucks. Your neighborhood coffee shop, where everybody knows if not your name, at least your drink.

This store has ALWAYS gone above and beyond. It’s much faster and more efficient than the other locations. The partners, including the floaters (or partners that work at multiple locations) really do bring back that old school feel that I just came up with.

Andrea, Morgan, Daniel, Brittany (just to name a few if I didn’t name yall you know I love you lol) are the perfect mixture of efficient and friendly. Coming in and seeing them and chatting for even a minute genuinely brings a smile to my day and of course, my days that start with lovely little notes (I know they do it for everyone, but I’m special ok?) on my cup are always better. It’s really interesting to be on the other side of the transaction and I hope that I can bring them a smile like my old regulars did for me.

This team is great and I know they’re running that floor with less people than is needed a LOT of the time (something that is a corporate thing not a store specific thing something to remember if you’re reviewing these) and they still have an amazing attitude and try to make sure you feel taken care of.
