Dave's Hot Chicken is a fast casual restaurant known for its spicy chicken and flavorful sauces. Many customers appreciate the good quality of the chicken and the friendly, courteous employees, highlighting that the staff provides top-notch service. The location is clean and new, making it a pleasant place to visit. The menu includes items like chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, fries, kale slaw, and mozzarella sticks, all of which are generally fresh, hot, and crispy. Customers often find the chicken to be cooked perfectly and enjoy the variety of sauces that add flavor to the dishes.
However, the atmosphere can be quite loud due to loud music, which some find enjoyable but others feel can cause migraines. Attempts to lower the music were met with resistance from management, leading to discomfort for some visitors. The ordering process is done via a kiosk, which is convenient and allows guests to see the full menu before ordering. While the food quality is good, some find the menu somewhat limited, and the dishes tend to be heavy and rich, with less emphasis on vegetables or lighter options.
Service experiences vary; some customers have praised staff members like Kevin for their helpfulness and pleasant attitude, while others have encountered unfriendly or rude interactions, especially when returning incorrect orders. Additionally, there is a need for a separate hand washing station to improve hygiene convenience. Overall, Dave's Hot Chicken offers tasty food and friendly service but can be affected by noise levels and occasional inconsistent customer experiences.
