TL;DR - Great food/service and high prices.I'll start off with the good, and there's a lot of that -Best brisket sandwich I've ever had. Had the one with fried jalapeños on it. Was seriously good. Hand breaded jalapeños and perfectly cooked brisket and bacon on an excellent roll. 3 homemade and really tasty BBQ sauces to top it off with.Best hush puppies I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside.Good fries, good catfish, good...
First time visitor. Went strictly to try their Reuben sandwich. Ordered a half sandwich with their handcut fries. Fries were a touch salty. Sandwich was flavorful and a hearty portion for half. It cost $14. The cost was a bit high to me. May have been more of a value if included a drink for the price. Will return but perhaps not as frequently as a may want.
Double D’s was average BBQ and was a bit expensive. The cornbread was great! I had the pulled pork and Mac n cheese and they were okay. It was completely empty at 6:00 on a Wednesday. But the server was very nice!
