Love this gas station. The owners are such personable people, had to return a faulty propane tank, and they were really good about swapping it. They have an awesome beer cave, too. And if you like food truck tacos, this place is even better.

Y’all make sure you don’t go to the Hop & Pop gas station Eyster Blvd. I go in to try and buy some food and a tobacco product with my boyfriends card. He tells me to do debit but I wanted to do credit. Then proceeds to ask for my ID and my card to match. I give him my id and my card and then realize he meant the card I paid with. I give it to him and he proceeds to say that I am using a card that is not mine. I proceed to tell him I was using my boyfriends card and didn’t have my card. We get into an altercation and he starts taking my ID information down with my debit card info. I tell him he doesn’t have consent for that and he starts recording me. I then start to record him after I tell him numerous times I don’t consent to be recorded with his phone. He ignores my concerns and continues. I tell him to refund me so I can use my card and he denies. Then continues to harass me over this. Finally after what felt forever he refunds me so I can get what I had come for. I ask why the total said $33 before and he harrasses me showing me the previous receipt saying I am accusing him of lying when I just asked why the price was different from what I had seen. Truly horrible business and bad salesman and owner overall.

Sad day when I feel the personal need to stand on behalf of my local gas station. I have became (as well as my family, friends, and business) extremely close to the owners of this exceptional establishment. So it was truly saddening to arrive and could sense something was off (didn’t come off as happy as he always does) so he ask if I could watch a video for him of a transaction. Might I add just asking me several times to just tell him what I see (not leading me to any preconceived notion) after watching multiple times I then say “she never looked around the store, she walked directly in and to the left to the register.” He then elaborated to me why I was watching this to which is why I have wrote the rather lengthy review the video I was show was of the said “dr.” In the reviews who is blatantly lying and even more disgusting having her minions of students come leave one star reviews. This is the most sad and pathetic thing I can think of especially of someone who boast themselves as “dr.” The people of Hop and Pop and all other small businesses in Rockledge deserve better than ignorance and lies. Shop local and support small business ??

The owner was absolutely awful i wish I didn’t have to give it a one star to leave a review. Especially if you look at other VALID reviews he always replies in a rude tone and completely disregards peoples social media, not realizing that he is shooting himself in the foot. And i went in there for whole milk which typically expires in about a month-ish and the whole milk there expires 1/24/24 a whole 5 months i can guarantee that is not actually milk but it’s probably loaded with unhealthy preservatives, if you need emergency asap milk just go to the 7/11 down the road, spend the extra gas to go about half a mile down the road.
