Server is racist. I was served coffee in a dirty mug with lipstick on it. She made the experience with my two sons extremely unpleasant. Never coming back here again. Let’s see if the local news finds out about them.

Our church group has brunch there after mass. American Legion Post 390 has breakfast the last Saturday of every month. My wife and I visit whenever we want breakfast or brunch.

Stood in the door way with an entire little league team waiting to be seated. All of the staff ignored us for way too long. At least acknowledge us and tell us we will be right with you. Walking past without even eye contact is not acceptable. We had to leave.

It gives us the opportunity to break bread with our fellow community American Legion members who live in Lox, Royal, West, and Wellington. We love the food and the people at Butterfields'.

Edit in response to owner: it was not the flu being a medical professional I’m very aware the difference between the flu and food poisoning. I made this to make you aware as the business owner and contemplated doing so but thought you should know. Others very well could be sick and have not made a response. Thank you and hope this helps clear up any confusion.

Ate here on Tuesday am with my wife and hours later we both developed food poisoning symptoms. My wife had it pretty severe and myself was mostly vomiting. We got the western breakfast pot and suspect it was the gravy. None the less 50 dollars later and three days of symptoms finally turning the corner. I just hope they better regulate their food processing as something wasn’t right and made us both violently ill within an hour of consuming. Been there a few times but after this experience will probably be a bit before returning.

Oh, you're never going to leave hungry and the staff will keep your coffee cup full with a friendly smile and bit of kind advice. The seating has taken a lot of wear. Could use a little refreshing but it won't make a difference to how the food tastes, which is great!

Went in and placed a To Go order. The cook messed it up. The lady taking the order walked away before I could explain what was wrong. Didn’t see her again for ten minutes. Then she finally shows up to fix the order and the rest of my food goes cold. Very frustrating and easily managed with simple check ins with front of the house.

Everything was good but the food. The potato’s wasn’t cook at all and not one bit of seasoning on ANYTHING. The water had more flavor

I'll start with a positive. The prices are better than the diner I usually visit. The food wasn't prepared as well as I had hoped for. My French fries were a bit over cooked and my friends home fries were dry. My biggest complaint was that it was pretty warm inside. I was sweating the entire time. So if the AC could be cranked up I'd be willing to give it another shot, but overall was not impressed.
