Butterfields Southern Cafe is a true Gem. We are new in the area and So glad we found this great restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly & welcoming and the prices are really good (especially the work week breakfast specials). My husband said it's the best french toast he has ever had. We go at least 1-2 times per week and they now know us by name. Amber, the owner, was helping the other day and was greeting everyone. She was so nice, gracious and appreciated our business. You need to try Butterfields.

We have been to this establishment a few times overr the past 1 1/2 years - bc it’s close , we like to support small businesses . and we see a lot of veterans in there (and we have paid for their breakfasts quite a few time - bc we aregreatful for their service ).This am we were seated by a young gentleman - half of the restaurant was closed off - there were 5 servers .Was walked past by several servers for 10 min- the young man that seated us asked if anyone got our drinks yet - we replied no - he asked us for our drinks and brought them -4 tables that were seated AFTER us were welcomed - and orderstaken .. now we are waiting 18 minutes - another table seated directly behind us - server passes them and asks for their drink order - we get up to leave - I wait by the register - the manager comes and I proceed to tell him my expierence - he calls the server over who has our table - she is the SAME sever that had the table directly behind us - I state what happened - how not even an acknolwdgment - and how it was disrespectful and added insult to injury , that she acknowledged the table who LITERALLY just sat down next to us - and again walked by us Without an acknowledgement .Her response was - “well u got ur drinks - “ I replied - yes - we did only bc the young tman that sat us - walked past us after he sat a 3rd table that came in after us asked us if anyone took our drink order (after 10 min) - and we sat there another 8 minutes as she passed us at least 4-5 times … she shook her head and said - it wasn’t 10 min - I then pointed up to the cameras they have there - and said. Y don’t u guys review the cameras and then u tell me how many minutes - bc my husbdnas is a VERY patient , understanding man - , as I am - we realize the staff shortage , over worked employees etc - so so really make an effort to be polite , and patient when eating at restaurants - and for him to say that is it and walk out - that speaks volumes - that’s when she apologized - ohh n let me put it out there , this has happened to us before at this establishment. When my daughter came home from college , and we took her there - actually that time - we stood waiting to be seated for 9 minutes and no one came to seat us so we walked out .This likely mom n pop establishment CLEARLY doesn’t value their customers and their attitudes and lack of any kind of welcoming atmosphere is contributing to the demise of small businesses such as this one…After leaving there we went to first watch on southern blvd although being very busy - they were very welcoming - acknowledged us - and sat us in a timely manner - and the server was very nice , personable .The food was excellent -To end .. go spend ur money at a place that deserves ur money spent at

An experience like frolicking through buttery fields of southern flavor. Butterfields is your typical tried-and-true country style restaurant. All the offerings are what you'd expect, from the offerings to the taste to the atmosphere. I got a turkey sausage, feta, and green pepper omelette. It hit the spot! Our other orders included a ham and Swiss omelette, and the patchwork quilt (juice, bacon, eggs, sausage, and pancakes). Again, all was good. Nothing epic enough to blow your mind, but the kind of goodness that'll keep you coming back when you're in the mood for southern cooking. Our server was friendly, and the pleasant hum of other diners made it feel like being around a big group of extended family. Good stuff!

Ordered a burger to go. It was so greasy. There was a puddle of grease in the bottom of the box. It made me so sick. Don't get the burger.

My wife and I have breakfast at Butterfields a couple of times a month. We love the food and the service is very good. Get there early. They get busy after 8 a.m., and it can be tough to get a seat.

Our first visit was for breakfast and let me just say it was amazing. Biscuits cooked right with delicious sausage gravy. Almost got that again tonight but went with the all you can eat ribs while my wife and stepson got all you can eat wings (a Tuesday special). Salad was good, nothing special but not bad. A standard salad. The main course came with 2 sides. I don't eat all you can eat for the sides mind you. I got mashed potatoes with gravy and collard greens. The potatoes were cold (if it were any other meal I would complain but this just gives me more space for ribs). Otherwise they tasted fair. Collard greens were pretty good as well. The ribs? Well, those were amazing. Fall off the bone with just enough sauce for flavor. I found myself drowning 3 plates quickly! It was that good. When done I asked for the check and was informed that the meal came with dessert too! My wife and stepson got the all you can eat wings so we got one of each of the 3 desserts. The banana pudding is ok. The brownie meh. The peach cobbler though.....amazing. Simply amazing. Would come again!
