“One of the best breakfast’s I have eaten out in a really long time. Two organic eggs were cooked to perfection sunny side up. Three nice thick slices of perfectly cooked bacon, and two pieces of thick gluten-free toast. The bread is made in house and undoubtedly the best I ever had. Fortunately they sold it so I bought a loaf to go. And the service was top-notch also. Overall great experience“

“We are on a girls weekend trip, we came across Pinocchio's Original Italian Ice Cream on our first night and it was so delicious that we had to go back on our second night. Our dinner plans ran over and we pulled in to Pinocchio's at 9:02pm. We were greeted by the sweetest employees Maddy & Talon. They let the five of us in and served us with a smile! We were in and out in less than 5 or so minutes. They made our night!! We made sure to tip well! We likely will go back for our third and final night on the island!“

“This the Classic French restaurant you’re going to share with good friends! We were a group of 10 foodies from various and distinct backgrounds. We did the prefix dinner with wine pairings. Our expectations were high based on what we read about this jem and none was disappointed. The escargot and onion soup were spot on, the trout almondine and Beef Bourguignon were exceptional, but by far the star of the meal was the steak frites. A sublime surprise accompanied by a bordelaise sauce, a side of béarnaise and a small crock of blue cheese sauce shared by the chef! The wine pairings were all from Bordeaux, decanted and beyond excellent. Do not forget to order dessert! I can’t wait for our next rendezvous“

“A family friendly environment! Laid back and inviting for a great time with whomever is around. Owner was amazing and service was fantastic! Food was great! Owner allowed us to sample new options like Swordfish and Salmon. Owner was so sweet with our kids making this a memorable experience for them to share for years to come. Highly recommend the "Irish Cannolis"!! Food was authentic and hand battered. Will definitely be returning! This restaurant sits off the main road but it's an amazing hidden gem. “We always say "We don't feel like we are in Florida , until we go to Micelli's" We went there 4/1/25. An excellent, friendly hostess greeted us. Had a wonderful seat by the water. We loved the breeze, boats going by, superb clam chowder, pizza and music. Great service by our waitress. Glad to be back on Matlache. Parking is tricky. We got there early. We love and recommend it highly. A favorite Florida experience. We will be back.😎😎“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“
