I picked up a Cuban sandwich to go, and it was pretty good, however, in my opinion, very dry. They should provide some kind of sauce together with the sandwich. I even asked if there was a sauce included, but I was told no. Add some sauce and I’ll give it four stars, otherwise It’s just an OK sandwich and not worth $14.

SERVICE REVIEW (Food Review at Bottom)
I got here about 20 mins before closing. Walked in and asked for a table for 2. She said we can sit anywhere. I asked if we can sit outside, she said yes. It was blaringly obvious that we are gonna eat here and not to go.

Woman brings the food out in all to go containers. Puts the food down, immediately walks inside as im saying I got this for here. Comes back out to put the chairs up super quickly. Meanwhile im sitting at my table, eating out of to go boxes for no good reason. I avoid plastics at all costs so it was really an icing on the cake. Right after she put the chairs up, she B lined inside and locked the door .

Im very disappointed in the service. Honestly, it is extremely disrespectful to treat a guest that way. No hospitality whatsoever, it was like they got off the clock and didnt give a shit. Most certainly will not be coming back here again.

FOOD REVIEW
(CUBAN SANDWHICH)
I ordered the Cuban Sandwhich. Fair amount of meat, but the pork was dry. Not much flavor in the sandwich. The dryness leads me to beleive it may not have been fresh. Regardless it was not very enjoyable.
(CHICKEN SOUP)
I also ordered the Chicken soup. Very bland, Chicken was super dry. No flavor, and has a slight taste of dish soap. I ran out of broth before I ran out of potatoes and chicken, because I had to drink the broth to wash the Chicken down.
(CAFE CON LECHE)
To be honest, the coffee is a top 5 I've ever had in my life. Really good flavor, not too sweet. If the service was good I would come for just for the coffee

I felt disrespected, so I did the same and left all my trash and the rest of the soup outside on the table.

My mom was a waitress, and hospitality is the most important trait💯

This review is long overdue. The food here is excellent. As someone who grew up in Miami, I was thrilled to finally find a place that serves delicious Cuban food.

However, the customer service at the CR 210 location continues to disappoint. For reasons I can’t understand, they are consistently stingy with the sauces that come with the croquettes. Even when I clearly note that I have separate orders and need sauces for each, the request is ignored and I receive only one — no matter how many I order. This has happened multiple times, and it’s extremely frustrating.

About a year ago, we placed a very large order to feed family while a loved one was passing away. All we needed was for the order to be right, but once again, we were shorted on sauces despite specific instructions. That experience was the final straw for a while.

Recently, I decided to give them another try because I was craving their soup. I even wrote detailed instructions requesting one sauce per order of croquetas, yet again only two sauces were delivered. It’s baffling that this restaurant still can’t get such a simple request right. I wouldn’t mind paying extra — but being ignored is unacceptable.

What finally prompted me to write this review is that when I called to speak with a manager about the issue, I was hung up on, and afterward, no one would answer the phone. The food deserves praise, but the service and management need serious improvement.

I came to dine in and paid $18 for 1 beef empanada and a 6 piece tequeños. We got the tequeños thinking it was $8.95 as listed on the menu and it ended up being $12.95. The menus didn’t reflect the correct prices and there was no heads up that the prices have changed. I would not have paid $12.95 for 6 small tequeños. I felt like it was misleading and I won’t be back.
