I was underwhelmed . My husband selected this place for his birthday dinner and was not happy - which of course impacted my enjoyment . I indicated on reservation it was his birthday - didn't expect anything for free but it would have been nice if someone -even the hostess said happy birthday .

We had a lovely evening with friends from the UK, they loved Serafina. It was a cold snowy night and the ambience was warm and relaxing. The food was great all round although I missed my regal Serafina loves the chicken paillard that was not available at this location. The service was friendly and inviting, all round a great evening.

Food was good, definitely smaller portions than most places. Server was very friendly . Beware that this location does not accept InKind. We went there because of this, it does pop up when you go to the main Serafina web page, but when we got there we were told that location does not accept it.

I'm so glad this new location of Serafina moved into our neighborhood It's a beautiful corner spot with rose bottles lining the windows for color and warmth. I had the best chicken Milanese - if you like the chicken pounded very thin like I do, you'll love it, and you'll have enough for lunch the next day. The two of us each got an entree and shared a pasta and it was nice experience all around.

Aunque en principio todo iba bien y tanto la comida como el servicio parecía correcto , cuando nos trajeron el segundo plato no dicen que la cocina cierra por si queremos postre . Le decimos que en principio no y la sorpresa es cuando estamos comiendo y pedimos una bebida y nos dicen que no saben si será posible . Al final la traen pero empiezan a abrir las puertas del establecimiento con lo que hacía mucho frío y nos traen la cuenta con actitud clara de echarnos. Yo entiendo que las costumbres en cada sitio son las que son , pero si van a cerrar cocina y no van a poder atendernos como es debido, por qué su sistema de reservas en OpenTable permite reservar a las 21:15 horas ? “ Nos echaron a las 22 horas” para 45 minutos nos hubiéramos ido a otro sitio o hubiéramos valorado la opción de ir antes si el sistema no nos da opción más tarde . Una pena ya que nos estropeó nuestra última noche familiar en Nueva York , seguro que esas personas son las misas que van a España y no se levantan antes de las 00: 00 horas pero nosotros somos más educados y les atendemos correctamente a pesar de ello .

Great food but service can be better. Salad arrived with Entrees and food was a bit late. Had to ask for bread and no one came to see if we want more wine until meal was over. Host had a bit of an attitude.
Waiter was always in a hurry and did not know the difference between a filet and a New York strip.

The pizza and salad were delicious and the sides - spinach and brussel sprouts - were excellent also. We sat at the bar and the service was top notch.

i'm not originally from jacksonville but i decided to visit and tried out this place with my boyfriend. it was a small shop but there were so many people ordering to-go, dining in, and so forth. the ambience and atmosphere felt hectic but i liked that. you're also able to see the pizza made fresh. the grandma's margherita was AMAZING. it was crispy and fluffy. the best part about it was the tomato sauce. it was absolutely flavorful and delicious. because i had such a great experience, i came back again the next day because it was just that good. if anyone wants to ever get pizza, definitely get it here!
