Zaxby’s is one of my go-to spots, especially because I love the Cobb salad. It’s always fresh, loaded with toppings, and actually feels like a full meal not just a side. The combination of chicken, eggs, and all the extras really hits the spot, and it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

Beyond the salad, the food overall is flavorful and satisfying, and the service is usually quick and easy. I like that I can switch it up whether I’m in the mood for something lighter like the Cobb salad or going all in with their chicken and wings. Zaxby’s has definitely earned its place as a regular stop for me.

Every item is like 1-2k calories, food tastes alright. Not anything crazy good, but it all tastes like you could be eating something better. Came twice, each time felt mediocre at best.

I’ve visited this place a few times, and today I decided to finally write a review. This location definitely has room for improvement.

On my first visit, I ordered a lemon pepper chicken sandwich (no sauce, with some toppings) to go. When I got home, I found out they gave me a plain classic sandwich instead. I drove back to get it replaced, and then when I got home again, I realized they had missed some of my toppings. I went back once more, and while it was frustrating, the manager was kind enough to give me three free meal cards to make up for the mistakes.

On my next visit using one of the free meals, they messed up my order again. Luckily, they corrected it on the spot.

On my most recent visit, I asked if they could turn my combo fries into a small loaded fries—not the shareable size, just my regular side with cheese, ranch, and bacon added. I even told them I was willing to pay a topping fee. Two managers told me they couldn’t do that and insisted I had to order the $9.99 shareable loaded fries. Honestly, why make something so simple so difficult?

To make matters worse, some employees (including a manager) spoke to me after I had made it clear I’m deaf. I can’t hear a thing—communication should be more respectful.

The owner or general manager really needs to retrain staff. Employees should know how to provide good service, treat customers with respect, and allow simple requests like adding toppings to fries. Disappointing experience overall.

Honestly employees are nice but they are really slow most days

the food was amazing and the service was also just so amazing def will come back again. when i step foot into the building im greeted and i feel so amazing and i feel like a weight is lifted off my chest and the moment i took a bite of the food i was filled with joy with how fresh and good the food was. will recommend to a friends and family. ❤️

It’s a shame when I
Used to be a manager at Zaxbys and I stop buy and got food for my family and everything was cold the employees had a attitude and the front of the house manger was right there snd didn’t care

I will never visit the Zaxbys in Jacksonville ever again paid 43 dallor for cold food and didn’t get everything I asked
