Swung over to St. Marks for lunch on our way back to Tallahassee after a weekend in Alligator Point. Cooter Stew Cafe hit right! I ordered the Sausage Hoagie (pictured) and added jalapeños. Excellent for someone who likes a little heat. My husband ordered the Chunkaburger and also added jalapeños. The potato salad and fries as sides were soooo good. Our 2-and-4-year-olds split the Two Hot Dogs which was perfect for kids. Stephanie was our server and she delivered top notch service. Will be back!

Small rustic restaurant, serves the best food in St Marks and in about 15 Miles around. Burgers are amazing with caramelice onions even better. Sourkraut is made in house it makes my mouth melt when I think about it.
Since is the best restaurant in town it can get busy at lunch; so patience to get your meal served is required and worth it.

The ladies who serve us are just as fabulous as the food the BOH prepares for us! I wish I could give this place a 10 star. Always our go to! The fries are homemade freshly cut everyday and the potato salad is out of this world amazing! The burgers are the best burgers around hands down but the fish sandwich and their wraps are awesome too!!! It’s a small joint, if they get busy you may wait 45 mins to an hour for your order but it is well worth the wait. Trust! The servers are so kind and they kick butt and keep the beers and sodas comin’! The outside seating is a must even if it means fighting the heat and or bugs! We love cooter stew! Y’all are doing a very well job!!
