The place is cool, BUT do not be in a hurry to eat. Went today to eat lunch and an hour and fifteen minutes later … no food. VERY SLOW COOKING. Left after the hour fifteen minutes and never got to eat. Been here before and the service was a little slow and the food good. Felt like if you are not a regular. You are not a priority. The cook came out and told a table next to us (appeared to be friends) that he was taking care of them next. Paid for the soda we drank.

Ok. This place really surprised me! 🤩 I came here 2x for lunch and the BLT wrap was yummy!!! 😋 The tortilla, lettuce, and tomatoes were all super fresh. And the fries...perfection! 💯 Keep in mind this is a small restaurant but is so worth trying!!! Need to update their hours of operation. This is the third time I’ve tried to come because I hear the food is great. Says they are open every time and they are closed when I arrive. I look forward to trying it some day

Swung over to St. Marks for lunch on our way back to Tallahassee after a weekend in Alligator Point. Cooter Stew Cafe hit right! I ordered the Sausage Hoagie (pictured) and added jalapeños. Excellent for someone who likes a little heat. My husband ordered the Chunkaburger and also added jalapeños. The potato salad and fries as sides were soooo good. Our 2-and-4-year-olds split the Two Hot Dogs which was perfect for kids. Stephanie was our server and she delivered top notch service. Will be back!

Small rustic restaurant, serves the best food in St Marks and in about 15 Miles around. Burgers are amazing with caramelice onions even better. Sourkraut is made in house it makes my mouth melt when I think about it.
Since is the best restaurant in town it can get busy at lunch; so patience to get your meal served is required and worth it.
