This place is truly wonderful! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is lively and inviting. You can really feel their pride in sharing authentic Mexican culture through their cuisine. Whenever you're in town, I highly recommend stopping by for a great experience.
For where it's at, and not a lot of other options on the island, this is an okay Mexican restaurant. However, they will gouge you when they can. Their basket of chips is actually not very good and completely unsalted. Anyway, not only is it a poor choice of chips, but when I ran out I asked for another basket, which they brought with a smile NEVER once mentioning there was an extra charge!!! Are you kidding me, you are going to charge me for an extra basket of tips. ...
Excellent authentic Mexican food with real jalapeños (hot) and real salsa. Price and quality of the food was perfect. Tequila bar next door was a real gem, also.\n\nI read the other reviews about "Rude" service and have to say I didnt experience that at all. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and I can say I highly recommend this place!
