Went to try the Cuban, based on the reviews. It was not what I was seeking but the staff was pleasant. Limited business hours, all is home made. Tucked in a corner of a small strip mall. Would do n a pinch.

Excellent Cuban! Two of us split the large and it was huge. Plantains we're just ok but I prefer them as tostones, crispy. These were soft.

Barracuda deli cafe is under new ownership and I'm a huge fan. Bdc is Cuban food done well with big portions. The staff is awesome especially the chef cooking in the back, I wish I remembered his name but he was very interactive with everyone in the restaurant and felt like an old friend. Cuban sandwich - Again I cannot stress the portion sizes here , the sandwich can satisfy two and it's a very good Cuban , great ratio of meat to mustard and a crispy bread . All the Cuban essentials and perfectly cooked pork 8.2/10 The barracuda beef bowl was like a fancy crunch wrap supreme with better seasoned beef. The lettuce provided some crunch and moisture and the sour cream on the side made this a very solid taco bowl 8/10. Highly recommended and the chef himself said try the Reuben so that might be your best pick if you do visit here :)

I wish we were local so we could eat here all the time. The staff were so friendly and kind. They paid special attention to the kids too. The Cuban and Don were tremendous. My picky daughter tried the burrito and somehow managed to eat the whole thing. We got to try their new hot hot sauce recipe which we took home for later. What a memorable stop.

Basic storefront walk up deli, but with wonderful family service and excellent sandwiches and rice. Very reasonable cost for great food! Recommend and will return very soon!

Highly recommended!!!! Walked by this place and saw the Cuban sandwich sign and figure sure while in FL you must get a Cuban. Brought the family in and we ordered the Cuban, the barracuda and two quesadillas for the kids. Hands down the best two sandwiches I had in a very long time. For 10 bucks a sandwich we got over a foot sub with beans and rice which were also tasty. The owners were super down to earth and interacted with the kids in such a positive manner. If I could give them ten stars I would. You don't have to be Cuban to make good food. If I'm ever in St. Pete's again I will definitely be back for a sandwich. Highly recommended.
Soooo good! The cubans are the best in the area! Wife and husband owned. Ask for the hot sauce - it's home made and deliciously spicy!! Will come back again and again!

Barracuda is a little difficult to find--even though it's right on the main drag, but worth the effort. I ordered online and it was ready for me to take when I arrived. The person behind the counter was very friendly. Has the feel of a "mom and pop" restaurant. I ordered a small cuban sandwich, but it was big enough for me to make two meals of it. I also ordered a side of yellow rice and black beans. Delicious. It was one of the best cuban sandwiches I have eaten. Getting hungry just thinking about it.

The absolute nicest people! It's small. Cuban was good! The "small" was HUGE! Beers, sodas, waters available. Good old rock music playing. It was great!
