Sandy was obviously unhappy to be working on Thanksgiving. After I closed my check (on which, I tipped very well), she was so frustrated that I decided to have an additional beer and charge it to my card, she basically threw me a "free" beer so she didn't have to do the paperwork to run my credit card for my additional beer. I've been going to this bar for more than ten years. This is the first negative Google rating I've ever given any business! Cheri, I'm so disappointed in the whole experience.

A diamond in the rough! Actually I fell in love with the place. If you want to meet real people in St Pete, that is where they are. A real home town feeling where everyone knows everyone and everyone gets along. Bar staff are awesome, in particular Beth who, besides being the hottest thing in there, has a wonderful soul and personality unmatched. She is a lovely person. Thanks for making me feel at home. Joe

I love the Beach Lounge. It's not a dump. There are good people in this place. I can't speak to other bartenders who work there... but the owner (Cheryl), bartender (Sherry) and male employee (from CT?) are all awesome. This is a local place, and I know musicians who have played there for years. Cheap drinks and food is really good too. Please treat them with the utmost respect. They'll take care of you. Thanks!

Bartender was older and extremely rude, accept to her usual patrons. Wouldn’t even offer me or my friend a drink. Place is a dump. I would not recommend.Thank you for your response. I don't really care to take you up on your free beverages, but I will tell you that I was in at night and the bar tender was an older woman. She treated our group like garbage.

Been in there a few times, usually good parking, friendly Bar Keep, cold beer and good drink prices. Can usually find a good conversation if you are in the mood.
