Coconut Charlie's Beach Bar & Grill

My friends and I ate at Coconut Charlie’s recently during a beach getaway. Our server, Michael, was superb, very personable and attentive. We enjoyed both breakfasts and an evening meal there. The Tiki bar on the beach is a great place for drinks, bites, and music.

We dined at the beach bar, and while the love music and drinks were great, the food was not. Coconut shrimp and fries seemed like they were cooked in oil that was not hot enough, the kids pizza and burger were just not very good at all. I would return, but only for drinks.

Coconut curry solid seafood was well cooked. Scallop was perfect. Price should be about half of what it was. The seared tuna cooked well seasoned well the wasabi ?paste? Was gritty the flavor was good. French fries were honestly the best part.

My recent visit to Coconut Charlie's left a lot to be desired. While the coconut shrimp was pretty good and a decent value, the rest of our experience was disappointing.

The most glaring issue was the overpriced and small portions. The chicken piccata was particularly underwhelming – it was mushy and tasteless, reminiscent of an old, long-frozen chicken breast. To make matters worse, they were out of French fries, which understandably upset our kids.

The atmosphere also left much to be desired. The restaurant is located at the bottom of a run-down hotel, which doesn't contribute to a pleasant dining experience.

Overall, given the high prices, small portions, and uninspired food (aside from the shrimp), I wouldn't recommend Coconut Charlie's.

The bar is outdoor and has bar food, but the live music and the sunset was wonderful. The inside house more of a sit down, but no view, but the servers are very sweet and kind. It was a really great experience and we completely enjoyed our time

We are staying at the hotel so went for dinner. Good live music almost couldn’t find a table but snagged one. The staff is great and quick to greet us. Ordered 4 different entrees and the chicken quesadilla stole the show!

Delightful beach vibes, food was perfect. Highly recommend.

We had dinner first at the grill. The grill was quiet on a Sunday @7p. Nick our bartender & server who was personable and quick with service. We ordered the coconut shrimp and short rib entrees- both were delicious. We wished that they offered a small bread basket or roll with dinner,, that would be our only complaint. We went out to the tiki bar in the back- Cassie was our bartender. She was great!

Parking is challenging, but food and service is amazing. Drinks were very sour, but had good flavors. Can't wait to go back. Try the blackened chicken fettuccini Alfredo.

Food and Service was really good. The seating is such that large groups sit down the center of the dining room, which if they are there, makes it noisy. But otherwise it was a great dinner before we went back to the deck bar for a beautiful sunset!

Fabulous service and outstanding food. Our new “go to” place for special occasions and out of town guests. The decor is beautiful and the waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Coconut shrimp the best we have ever eaten. The other dinners were just as good.

Kitchen was a little slow when we were there (took about an hour to get our food) but taste and quality was fantastic.

We went for Mother's Day Brunch! We were welcomed with many smiling faces. Everyone (table of 9) LOVED their meals! All the food was fresh and hot! We were even given roses for Mother's Day! So thoughtful! Carol was the best server and checked on us often! She made the morning so special. We will definitely come back!
