Officially out of business the restaurant across the street red white and booze formerly sea critters bought it and is gonna use the parking lot for their customers I was told today.

I ate at this restaurant several years ago and thought it was great. Just ordered some takeout food, a chicken dish as well as a pizza. Unfortunately, the quality of food was not that of when I ate there previously. The chicken dish was unedible and the pizza, tasted as if it was a frozen pizza from the grocery store.

Awesome food! I ordered a cheese-less pizza & pizza was made w/cheese. They made a whole new pizza for me 5 mins before closing & were super nice about it. The taste of the Nonna pizza was out of this world! Highly recommend!

We were staying a couple blocks from Gennaro’s and decided to try it out as we were in the mood for Italian and didn’t feel like driving. They are takeout only and when we called they said it would only be about 20 min for our food to be ready. 20 min later we walked inside and it was ready to go. The food was FANTASTIC. Absolutely wonderful. I got the chicken francese and my wife got eggplant parm, with both of us getting a side of cheesy garlic bread. I can’t recommend them enough. So good!

Yes it’s only take out. But wow! The pizza was SO good- flavorful. We order extra so we have it for lunch the next day. The spaghetti with marinara is also so flavorful. We will be regular orders!

Gennaro's Special We ordered a large Gennaro's Special (with beef instead of sausage) and it was delicious! It is easily one the best pizzas I've ever had. We had leftovers which were as fabulous the next day as when it was fresh.

Ordered the chicken parmigiana, it was delicious, best I have ever tasted. The pasta sauce was also delicious, it was not the traditional red sauce, it had a creamy texture. Included was a generous loaf of garlic bread which was also well prepared, the salad that came with the meal was also very good. Lots of food at a reasonable price. Vicky who works at the restaurant was so personable. Highly recommend Gennaro's, you will love it!

Wonderful spot PLENTY of shells and waves and very few people. Once you get down the boardwalk (which isn't very long) there is the water! Fun fun fun

GREAT authentic Italian pasta! My family and I are on vacation and ordered from here during a very stormy night. We didn’t know anything about the place, but the menu looked go so we decided to try it. We got 3 different pastas and garlic bread, and each were absolutely delicious. The sauces were all extremely fresh and flavorful, and definitely homemade. The portions are a good size too. A nice surprise was the friendliness of the staff, specifically the owner who took our order and gave us the food at the front counter. She was awesome! I highly recommend checking it out, we will definitely be back here next time we’re in town.
