Good location to park and go to the beach. Self-checkin service works only through a phone call, worth it? Not sure... terrible room! bedding with holes, sqeeky, very old bed and room (#207) is very, very, soooo, small!!! like 8x8 = I've got the feeling that you are sleeping on the balconies (but covered lol) no way, I'll get back there again.
My husband and I stay at Hotel Zamora exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness of the rooms were immaculate with a nice ambiance. The entire staff was very welcoming and professional. Nicole went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I during our honeymoon/1st anniversary!!!!!
Nicole provided exceptional service upon our arrival!!!!
We enjoyed nice bikes rides on the beach as complimentary bikes and kayaks were provided by hotel.
The views from the rooftop bar were breathtaking and the presence of intracoastal waterway presented a peaceful and calming atmosphere..
I honestly have nothing negative to say about our stay Hotel Zamora and highly recommend!!!
Love the location and the renovated rooms are lovely. Staff are attentive and food is great. We are moving to the area and will still staycation at The Zamora.
We are definitely coming back to Hotel Zamora. In addition to the nice and clean rooms, the staff was the best: Kiel and Peyton at the front desk were very helpful and kind. Kosta and Bill from engineering were the best and generously drove us to the beach and back. This is a gem. Thank you.
Very large and tidy rooms. Very clean and modern atmosphere. Staff was very friendly.
A hidden gem in St Pete. After finally finishing their renovations (it’s our second time staying here) Zamora is looking beautiful. The open concept of the spaces and the modern details gives you the comfort you need during your stay. It’s so quiet and cozy. Tom, our front desk agent was very professional, hospitable and kind.
The only ‘downside’ is they sadly lost direct access to the beach but they do offer complimentary rides and pick up service to the nearest beach, and also provide chairs and shade if you need them (which you will).
The valet team also deserves a shoutout, super kind, professional and respectful!

When we first toured this venue in late 2023, the hotel had not yet been renovated. However, the team shared inspiration photos that truly impressed us, and we were excited to book the venue—especially since St. Petersburg holds a special meaning for us.
Throughout the planning process, there were some challenges due to multiple staff turnovers. Unfortunately, some paperwork and prior discussions fell through the cracks. A few of our deposits were never processed, and after following up several times, I was redirected to different staff members before things were finally sorted out. Thankfully, during the final stages of planning, Vianka was consistent with communication and helped ensure our questions were answered.
Our pricing remained the same since we had signed our contract before the staff changes, which we appreciated. However, when we originally toured the venue, our first sales coordinator—whose name I believe was Carly—had promised us a complimentary upgrade to an ocean-view suite. When I later brought this up with Vianka, she was less forthcoming about the upgrade, explaining that it would depend on room availability. Upon check-in, I mentioned it again to the front desk; they said they would follow up but never did. Since I had managed most of the wedding planning myself, I decided not to push the issue further.
On a positive note, the staff allowed me to store all my ceremony decorations in the Casa Blanca Room ahead of time, which was a huge help and made setup much easier.
The wedding ceremony itself was absolutely perfect—the weather, food, and atmosphere were all amazing, and our guests had a wonderful time. I only wish the ceremony could have lasted a bit longer, though I understand the sound restrictions in place.
The only issue we experienced during our stay was that the toilet in our room stopped working on our wedding night. I called the front desk multiple times but couldn’t get through, so I ended up using the lobby restroom instead.
Spacious bright place with a nice decor and within walking distance from the beach.
Keep in mind, the entrance to the beach right across is closed for the customers of the hotel. The closest one is 8min walk, but the hotel provides a lift. There is a good restaurant on site, heated pool, jacuzi, gym, and a rooftop bar with a beautiful view.
Can't speak to the rooms as I am a local but love the bar in the resturant. The food is consistently delicious. Recommend grouper, shrimp or charcuterie appetizer and the bolognese for dinner.
Alicia the bartender always makes us feel welcome. She is the hidden gem on SPB. Highly recommend stoppingchecking out the bar at Azure or joining in on one of their events!!
While the hotel is beautiful and the staff worked very hard to make our stay nice, the hotel is mismanaged.
The staff is clearly overworked. The hotel charged us a hidden fee and when I tried to contact the manager about it for months, she would give me false promises that she would take care of this matter and then would never return my calls. When I would call again, I would be placed on hold for a long time again and again. I disputed the charge with my credit card, but the hotel provided erroneous documentation to justify their hidden fees.
My friends warned me that the place is grossly mismanaged and to stay away, but I didn't listen and I should have. For the amount of headache and time this has caused me, I would never return.

Love love love so nice and updated
We went at the end of September and it was so quiet. I’m guessing it’s hard on staff that rely on tips but we enjoyed the peace. So nice that we extended our stay by another day. This is a pretty, boutique hotel with large, beautiful, rooms. So clean. (Nod to the cleaning staff) Ours had a view of the Gulf, and there were plenty of rooms with a channel view. The grounds and pool areas are immaculate. Their staff is excellent, 5 stars - glad to help and always available. Special thanks to Kosta, Jason, and Michael.
Their restaurant was exceptional with beautiful views over the channel. Great service, thank you David! And their food was so good, we’d go back just to visit their restaurant. Highly recommend the hotel AND restaurant. Thanks to each of you. We’ll be back.
Very nice stay. We had no hot water one day and no water the next for limited amounts of time, but we were refunded the hotel and resort fees. As such, it was an even trade and overall a wonderful stay. Coffee in rooms is from a high caliber European (Vienna) coffee company. Super good. Hotel was remodeled in last year or so. I’ll totally stay again.
They have their own private beach. Can’t say enough good about Hotel Zamora.
Also, my biggest problem with hotels is typically noise. Noise below you but more so above you. Didn’t hear anyone once in 3 days.
I would avoid restaurant though. I think it’s called Azura. No good.
This hotel had high ratings and was close to the beach which is why we choose to stay here. The hotel is nice in appearance, staff has good customer service but the rooms were not clean at all. Someone from mgmt came and changed the linen but we still made a trip to Walmart to get extra bedding to put on top so that there was plenty layers between us and the mattress. Hair was everywhere, they said there are designated rooms for pets but I doubt that with all the hairs that were everywhere. I mopped and swept the floors to try to get it clean. The price that you pay for the rooms, you would expect the rooms to be spotless. I also booked a balcony room with a view, save your money we saw the outside road with a balcony that barely fits 2 people. I only gave it 2 stars because of the customer service. O and if you are not a pet person dont come here. The lady that checked in before us had her cat all on the checkout counter. One of the guest pittbull lounged & growled at my husband as he was trying to get on the elevator. The toilet seat was broken. None of the amenities were available(roof top) which was also another reason we had choosen to stay here. We booked 2 rooms under my name ans asked for the rooms to be together at reservation & when we arrived. They were not, our friends were way around the corner from us. We were so ready to go, the only good thing about this hotel was the valet staff. I would not recommend any of my friends/family to stay here.
Had an amazing stay here for two nights! The ambiance and sunsets are amazing! Loved the lobby and hotel room decor. I feel it was worth the cost of the room. Everything was clean and staff was very kind to us! We would return back again!!!
