Riptides is a favorite spot, not quite a dive bar, with a dark but open atmosphere. Smoking is allowed but not a big issue with AC and an outside breeze. The bartenders are quick even during busy times. They offer pizza and Thai food nearby, and have a potluck or donation buffet for Sunday football. Despite changes due to a hurricane, it's still welcoming to all, including Harley riders. Known for years, it's a top beach bar with a great jukebox, pool table, and dart boards. A must-visit in the area or worth a trip if you're not nearby.
