Savannah is gem!! She went out of her way to find the Bama game for me, even after I had already given up that it was on tv. And she’s super nice. Also- the beer is cold and the bar atmosphere is fantastic.

They typically have a chex mix blend available and do allow food to be brought in, but tons of other food options close by! The atmosphere here is amazing! It's a usual hangout spot for me and my local friends!! It's a great place to catch a sports game and grab a cold beverage!!

Neighborhood bar like you would find in the Midwest. Older crowd. Prices are not like they are on the beach. Friendly. Comfortable. No food other than some snacks. Smoking OK. Great bartender. Good drinks.

Riptides is the kind of local bar that does not pretend to be anything it is not. It has a gritty charm and a mix of people that keeps things interesting. You will find beach regulars, late night wanderers, off duty workers, and everything in between. The drinks are cheap, the music is loud, and the place stays open late for those who are not quite ready to call it a night.
The crowd can get a little wild, but it is all part of the experience. People are usually loud, a little drunk, and having a good time. The bartenders work hard and even when the place is packed, they keep things moving and do their best to get to everyone quickly.
This is not the place for fancy cocktails or quiet conversations. But if you want a no nonsense spot with strong drinks, late hours, and a lively scene, Riptides delivers.

Good place for drinks, margaritas were perfect. Price was affordable. Unfortunately smoking is allowed inside and depending where you sit there might be a lot of smoke. On the next day after going, I smellled a lot of smoke on my clothes.
