Had the worst restaurant experience today. It was just my wife and baby trying to eat there. Our order took forever. I ordered the ceviche. It finally came after I said something about the wait time and I’m normally not that guy. My wife’s dish hadn’t even been started. The ceviche came out and was incredibly small and not what I expected. It came with three fried tortillas that were incredibly stale. We needed up telling the waiter not to worry about it and we left with. Went across the street to Snappers and had a much better night. Oh, and the menu at Rumfish is very small with very limited options. Complete disappointment all around.
It was bad. I never write a bad review, and I rarely, if ever send food back, but I did/ am doing both. It was a holiday but that is no excuse. I ordered the halibut and it was so overcooked and dry I had to return it. The replacement was just as dry. It didn't even look real and I wonder if it was even halibut. It never should have left the kitchen. We ordered a dish that had rice which was hard and undercooked, but had a hard crisp to it I'm assuming from sitting under the lights. And please, please don't put wet bread dishes on a table. Nobody wants to eat off of that! And the manager should have apologized because it was brought to her attention how horrible the food was and she never said a word but kept us waiting over 20 minutes to adjust the bill. I will never return.
The food was overpriced for the quality. Our steak was so tough and the shrimp was like rubber Do not recommend this restaurant
It's about what you would expect from a resort restaurant. The fish tank is fun for the kids, food is very average. Service was good.
Food not as good as it used to be, service was okay, maybe they're still trying to recover/rebuild after the hurricane.
The special, seafood Mac n cheese with lobster, shrimp, and crab $46 was awful. It definitely did not taste like Mac n cheese but rather a bowl of tomato basil soup with Captiva pasta and seafood, topped with a dusting of cheese. It was super salty. Disappointed and left hungry.
Excellent place and nice atmosphere. Service awesome. Thank you. We have a great time.

My husband and I ate here each day so far and we ordered the Mahi sandwich which was awesome. It was so good we ordered it 3 days in a row at lunch. Lol I also ate the key lime pie and it to was perfect and the presentation was beautiful as well. Someone said the prices were expensive, but I beg to differ. The prices are appropriate for the quality, professional presentation and the food it just tastes sooo good. Very simply put we love it and just to top it off the staff are lovely and very attentive. We can't say enough wonderful things about Rumfish Grill, except come eat something....everything is very tasty.?
I just stopped by to support a local business. I was asked twice about my service animal who is a tiny dog that weighs less than 10 pounds and you had two customers in your entire restaurant and I was turned away, actually not turned away, but I was told the dog had to sit on the ground that I had to have the dog on the ground before he would serve me. I was approached by not only the front desk the other woman who was behind the counter at the bar and the waiter outside all of them with an attitude about my dog while you had two customers sitting in your restaurant we are trying to support local businesses. I live here, and I am appalled by this. You don't answer your phone and I wanna call from the general manager to discuss this now it's not the time to be turning away your customers especially ones that live here on the beach and I've been through all of this devastation. Shame on you.
Very good wraps which are very generous.
The servers were very attentive to us.
We recommend.

I love going during happy hour. I recommend the firecracker shrimp with a side of coconut rice. Absolutely delicious together. Always a very good time when I dine here.

Patrick was so nice and friendly and made us some amazing drinks this past weekend! Great service! ?
I had an amazing experience at RumFish, thanks to the fantastic service from our bartender, Patrick who was also our server. We wanted to get out and support this local business as they were down for a few days from Hurricane Helene. They have a limited menu right now but the options were fantastic. We got the Caesar salad, peel and eat shrimp and chicken wings with the dry rub.
Our server, Patrick, was equally impressive. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The recommendations for food were spot on, and their knowledge of the menu made it easy for us to choose.
The combination of great drinks, delicious food, and top-notch service made our evening truly memorable. I can’t wait to come back and experience more of what RumFish has to offer. Highly recommend!
