The Seahorse is by far one of our favorite places in the St Pete Beach area. So much history. The service is wonderful and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent! A great assortment of breakfast items. Lunch is great too, but we typically go for breakfast. Love the location - on 8th Avenue Shopping District of PAG so we normally browse the shops after breakfast. The Seahorse is the BEST!

Best breakfast on the beach. Love the biscuits & gravy.
We visit Pass A Grille once a year and this is my favorite breakfast spot. Food and service are both great. Hope you guys survive through these hurricanes!

The Seahorse suffered damage from Hurricane Helene, so they are recovering as of this review. I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had it on my list for a long time and when I finally got there I was not disappointed in the least. I will be returning for their shrimp and cheese grits when they open again. So good! I also had Cuban bread with mine. The atmosphere was very friendly, to include the customers. It is everything you would hope for in a neighborhood restaurant that has stood the test of time. I think they will be selling mugs and T-shirts in their website to help with funding repairs, so if you want to help them, check that out.

The food’s not fancy….but my eggs are perfectly cooked every time I order and arrive quickly and hot with the toast just as I ordered. The guac toast with its hint of spices also my favorite. I’ve eaten here comfortably alone or with groups. We always bring out of towners for a simple yummy bfast, good coffee and prompt friendly service. They may flood during a storm, but they always clean up and reopen again in a day or two. We are not residents of the beach but are loyal fans for over 35 years. ???
Parking: Get there early to park close on busy days or park beachside and take the short walk over. It’s worth it.

Have never had anything but good food and friendly service over the 15 years. I have enjoyed The Seahorse while visiting the St Pete area. It’s a landmark restaurant in the stylish and unique Pass-A-Grille community. Breakfast until the 2:30 pm closing is their claim to fame but they also serve solid lunch fare. Diners of all ages and families with children fill the wooden booths amid knotty pine paneling, Like most of Pass-A-Grille, it gives off a mid-century Florida vibe. Worth the short drive.
