I took my family here on Tuesday after seeing their Tuesday crab special. The food was really good! I got the special. 1lb of snow crab, slaw, and potatoes for $25 and it was $20 for each additional lb after that. I think it was up to 3 additional lbs. The shrimp skewers were also really good. My wife had the chicken pasta and said it was really good. My 2 kids were pretty satisfied with their meals, too. Our server was very nice and knew a lot about the menu and items on it. Keitston B was her name. Very nice lady.

Have been coming to St. Pete from Maryland for 5 years. Always my favorite meal of the week!!

I went here with my mom and stepdad for an early Father's Day. My folks LOVE Shells and since the location in Sarasota closed, this is the closest location that they travel to as a treat. The staff are friendly and the food tastes just as good as I remembered. I always LOVE that white wine clam sauce that they use for the linguine. Ultimately, this is a great 50/50 meetup for us because I live in Holiday FL so I am hopeful that this location will at least stick around to keep serving us good food.

Good spot with a local feel. Pasta options are good portions and plenty of seafood.

The food and atmosphere were great, but service was VERY off. She was very kind but made a lot of mistakes.

Started simple with forgetting someone's drink.
Next, input raw oysters instead of steamed, so we had to wait longer.
Then 3 in our party ordered 1.5 pounds crab leg meals, but she brought half pound portions. Told them those didn't come with sides. She stood there staring aimlessly for a moment and walked away without saying a word. She came back a few minutes later and explained the meals were coming shortly.
Finally, we requested separate checks, and I got someone else's item on my check.

A manager never came over to check on us. I'm very disappointed.

Great food and reasonably priced! The clam chowder was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Snow crab special is well worth it for 20 bucks to start, drinks from the bar we're moderate. Gotta try the crab dip they have, it is to die for!!!

A+++ especially after a speedy reopen from both hurricanes wiping everything out!!!

Kid-friendliness: Def kid friendly, come on its Shells!!

Wheelchair accessibility: The whole facility is wheelchair accessible from what I saw, even outside patio is wide enough

Small, clean, adorable exterior. Waitstaff did a great job! Complete menu. Food was good. No issues.

Food was delicious. We went after one week post hurricane. They were opened. Explained how hard they work to clean everything to get opened. Place was spotless!

Great seafood and very reasonable prices. I first found a shells in Miami 35 years ago and I’ve been happy to visit shells restaurant whenever I meant any area that has one give it a try you’ll love it.
