Our 3rd year in St Pete’s Beach, our third (or maybe 4th) trip to Shells. We love it here - the pasta is perfectly cooked and dressed, she shrimp is beyond perfect. The fried fish, the crab cakes, the salmon - there isn’t a thing I’ve had here that isn’t great. Also $6 margs that don’t taste just like sour mix and cheap tequila - but are just right on any day. If you have a kid who likes Shirley Temples, order one and you won’t be disappointed by the surprise. Service is awesome! Shells is a must visit in St Pete!

Don't bother with this place. Went here for Easter. Place was not busy at all. Server dropped off food and didn't come back too see if we needed anything until I was done eating. Cole slaw had a large piece of plastic bag in it had hair in another meal. Was never asked if we wanted more drinks, was charged double "happy hour" price on margaritas because we ordered a flavored one and we even asked about the flavor option before ordering. Had to go get our own condiments because waitress never brought them, had to ask for Old Bay 3 times before we got it. And womans bathroom had no toilet paper in it. Told the staff but it still took 30 minutes before they filled it. Terrible service and dirty. Won't be back.

Great food, great atmosphere and an especially awesome staff. Our server was super nice and did a great job. The food was exactly was exactly as it should have been, flavorful and cooked to perfection. And not to mention very speedy. Their happy hour is great, very good margaritas for the price. Shrimp and scallops pasta and skewers where terrific. A great value for your money when it comes to local seafood.

Outstanding comestibles at great prices. Squeezed our 10 top in at 6:30 on a Wednesday, which is generally hard to get around here without a reservation. Tip: they discount the crab legs on the larger portions, especially on Tuesdays.Parking: Park at the strip mall next door if the lot is full.
