If you're looking for fresh seafood that isn't over complicated and want a higher-end service this is the place. I got the soft shell crab and was not disappointed. Perfect spot if you're looking to treat you or someone to a quality meal.

It’s a nice place. Nice atmosphere but our server was not friendly. He never even introduced himself. Barely said a word to us. The cocktails had hardly any liquor. We order a Pinot noir at $18.99 a glass. The pour was so small it wasn’t even a quarter glass. We told the sever. His answer was “It’s a big glass”. The glass was a regular sized glass. We were the only people in the restaurant. No one said goodbye when we left. Food was good but overpriced. Overall, nice space but service was not friendly. Food was good but the whole experience is overpriced.

I had a fantastic dining experience at The Dewey! The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the waitstaff were both friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our meal. From start to finish, everything was top-notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend The Dewey and will definitely be returning!

This review is from August 2, 2024. I am Tierra Verde resident. My husband and I formerly would make The Dewey Rooftop our special occasion place. This WAS my favorite bar/restaurant in St Petersburg (PAG) especially when Katie Moon was running the place. Katie had too much pride and cared about every customer’s experience. I loved a light meal and incredible drink at sunset on the rooftop. August 2, We planned to meet friends there. I did nothing but rant about how fabulous the rooftop was. It is no longer!!! They now serve every $15-20 cocktail in tiny, cheesy, thin basic wine glasses. I’m 100% not going back. I fully expect a martini in a martini glass, a bourbon in a bourbon glass and a “tall” gin and tonic in a tall glass (which is what my husband ordered.). Our drinks arrived in these cheesy little wine glasses. I’m no longer in college. I truly appreciate an adult experience. The rooftop use to have fresh shucked oysters and a light menu. Now NO food only drinks in kiddie cups. No food, cheesy dollar store glasses, expensive for what? Why? We left very sad and disappointed.

You’re truly missing out if you do not stop here for drinks & dinner. I have to say the food was amazing but you know what honestly made the experience, the owners & the entire staff were super friendly. Michael and Lay were outstanding and ever since Covid, my husband and I can’t say that we’ve been to a restaurant where the entire staff was truly nice and happy. If you have dogs, it’s a perfect place to go. Like I said the food was outstanding but honestly the atmosphere and people mean more to me. They have a forever guest from myself, husband and our sweet pup Wyndell. We can’t wait to go back tomorrow! Also looking forward to booking our next room there!

Was in town on business and had a chance to try out the Dewey Restaurant. Not only was the food exquisite, but the service and atmosphere were excellent. Our server, Michael T did a phenomenal job giving us have an enjoyable visit through going above and beyond in kindness and service. Plus, the food recommendations were all excellent. Will return to the Dewey and recommend to out of town guests! Great location!

The meal was fine but over priced. The house salad was mostly lettuce and bland. There are plenty of better options for good food at better prices.
