Twisted Tiki Bar & Grill

Would love to give 5 stars but there is one bartender with a terrible attitude. Almost walked out but then had Tanya took care of me. She has been there a long time and always prompt and with a smile . Tanya's a keeper and a personality of a great bartender. Food is very good as well.

I was very disappointed! Today my husband and I went to the Corey Avenue Market after church. We were excited to hang out at the Twisted Tiki for drinks and food and to watch the football game. My husband went in and used the restroom. Before he sat down, he was reprimanded by a woman worker that said the restrooms are for paying customers. We will not be giving you our business today or in the future. Just be nice!

In reply to your response, if you weren’t open yet, why were your doors opened? Why didn’t someone tell him you weren’t open? Did the person need to be rude? I was at the market shopping and I was going to meet him there when I was done for lunch and drinks. Could it be he didn’t want a drink after you made him feel uncomfortable? I feel it could have been handled much better on your end.

Man whoever Kim is and her secret sauce remove that off the menu. It was wack don’t get it. Fries are not it either no thanks. Come for drinks and vibes. I’m sure the other food is good maybe but that was whewwww

The menu was so good we couldn’t decide what to eat. The Kokonut shrimp was really good. I had a Greek salad with chicken that was very tasty. My husband had the sliders and he loved them. Our drinks were tasty and delicious and the bartender was interactive.

My daughter Nicole left a review about her 30th birthday party here at this unfortunate establishment. Kim, the owner of Twisted Tiki, decided to rebuttal, so as we all know there are three sides to a story, her side, her side and the truth. All I will say is… Do not have a party here and let KIM decorate for you!!! Decorations were just awful! I offered to do it myself but Kim said “Trust me I do this all the time”…In this picture is an example of a backdrop that was used and she had it 4 feet off the floor. Who does that? The backdrop was 8 feet tall. I didn’t wanna see her outdated wallpaper underneath our backdrop. I told her the most important thing was having lots of balloons, there were maybe 20. The woman has no eye for Decor at all!!!!!!! Plus, she said (in her rebuttal) she came in on her day off to do our decorations Am I to feel sorry for her that she showed up on her day off when she owns the business? How accommodating 🫩 seriously?
My daughter was not an hour late we asked her to come after 7 o’clock to make sure everybody was there. She was there by 7:15.
As far as Nikki’s boyfriend, YES! he was very drunk and he very much acted out of hand and we are very sorry that that situation happened. We would have apologized to the table and the DJ “JONNY B” 🥱 had he not kept going on and on and disrupting the whole night intermittently about this, calling us out even after her boyfriend left (without incident, I might add)…He was never charged or even spoken to about this situation. But as the cops said, Twisted Tiki & Jonny B took it out of context due to the fact that the DJ was encouraging people to throw things at him for fun, AT A BAR!!! Nikki‘s boyfriend doesn’t drink very much so this hit him hard and he SCREWED UP, but had the DJ just shut up about it (once his statement was given to the cops) this review would never even been considered, but him and his 10 followers, who were drunk also that night I might add, made it to the point where we left early and we DID pay for everything!!! When we asked the waitress, if this was the final bill, she said yes! Police reports are public record. September 3, 2025!!!

I started visiting this establishment regularly when I am in St. Pete. I live in Kentucky so I don’t get to visit often. The food is always fantastic! The atmosphere is fun! The drinks are always amazing! The staff is always friendly and go above and beyond. I’m assuming the bad reviews are from some crazy drunk idiots. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

The boyfriend/husband was extremely drunk and acting obnoxious. He was shouting at the Bandingo guy to play a certain tune!!
It's a freaking game, not an 'all request' show.
When he didnt get what he wanted he decided to throw a metal, spiked, paper towel holder at the Bandingo guy (Johnny G), which missed him, but almost hit a patron sat at another table.
That is when Johhny G basically called the drunk a few cuss names (deservedly so, by the way). After someone tried to calm the drunk down, he left and decided to harass people outside the bar
That is when the Sheriff's Department was called.
Please don't let these 2 negative posts deter you from going to the Twisted Tiki.

Worst experience ever. My family threw a birthday party for me here and the DJ who was hosting music bingo was very rude and was very dramatic and was not a good host. Be warned.
There was also a cockroach in the bathroom

more so to the fact that he was rude a month ago when the hostess of the party inquired about a reservation during Bandingo, and the profanities he was using his entire set. There were children there.
Victor left immediately when asked to do so without incident.

The food was delicious and presentation superb!!! Clean bathroom, very clean!!! I want to go back and try the scallops Ceasar, hamburger, and the wedge salad was the Best presentation I've ever seen!!! Thank you 💙

Been twice within four months. Food was delicious! I loved the crab Rangoon egg rolls!! Drinks were great, friendly staff and karaoke. Cant ask for much more!!
