i’m so sad to see this bar is closed! my husband and i came to stay at the Don Cesar last year and we were recommended to stop there by the bar tender. We had loved it so much we came back a few more times before heading home. The owner was bartending and was just incredible. The most perfect dive bar there ever was 😭

Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. Not sure what made it so great. Maybe the simplicity of the old school, home made fatty hamburger patty, that's shaped by hand?? Just simple american cheese and sauteed onion... but I MELTED in my barstool eating it. Just so good. Bartender was clearly in a permanent state of hating people and life, and as crotchety as any life long bartender probably would end up being, yet efficient with our order, and not rude. She was at her end of her job, but I appreciated that for the dive it is. But the burger stays with me.

Its not worth the money or time. I had hair in my food and got overcharged for 5 shrimp and 10 bites of yellow rice. The workers made sure i didn’t feel welcome and made me order on the sidewalk. Never again.

Stopped in here a couple of times during our stay. Staff was friendly & attentive, the food was great! Beers were cold, but due to the weather temperature you will want to bring or buy a kookie. Cool to sit & watch the green parrots flying around.
Came in at 5pm on a Sunday and we're seated immediately. Wide variety of choices on the menu, all about $10-20ea. We had a wedge salad with blackened chicken, the 14in Nathan's hotdog with tator tots, Willy Mammoth burger with baked beans, and chicken wings with blackened seasoning. HUGE portions, phenomenal food, excellent service by our waitress, Maddie ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️
