Nice owners. The patrons are either nice or really gross. Bartenders tend to over-serve and there is funny business going on in the bathrooms. The prices are great, though. It is a dive bar. If you don't mind the peripheral nonsense and smoke and know how to keep to yourself and stay out of trouble, it's a great place.

was in there on Feb 3rd was VERBALLY attacked. Never said anything to the guy he VERBALLY said the most Inappropriate things to me!! I had to leave in Fear!! Women shouldn't go there without someone to protect you!!

49th is a classic local dive, off the beaten path of the busy Tyrone area and a good hike from downtown St. Pete. It stands alone. One of the few full liquor and still smoking facilities. Definitely a must stop for local dive lovers, great bartenders, drinks and the patrons always keep you entertained.
