Applebee's Grill + Bar

Props to the front of house, who were friendly and welcoming. Upon receiving our Three Cheese Chicken Penne, the entire dish was cold. Sent it back to the kitchen for them to at least heat the dish up (we work in hospitality, so we expected the dish to be put in the microwave, no big deal). Dish comes back out 10 minutes later and was the exact same temperature! At this point we got to go boxes, paid our bill, and left. Service was great. No manager around. No one came over to apologize for our food being cold. First time trying this location and the last. I can see why so many Applebee's are closing if this is how the restaurant functions.

Look around! The place is absolutely disgusting dirty. The chairs, the bar stools, the tables, the bathroom (smells like urin) both men’s and women’s, the windows, the walls and trims. It’s absolutely filthy! This place looks like it’s about to be shut down!! I’ve gone a couple times now over the past several months and wow it’s just the same dirty place it was before. I don’t understand how it’s not getting shut down and not having other complaints!

The food was good but our server Empress ruined our time with her nasty attitude which is unfortunate because everything else was great.

I came to this location with my girlfriend about a month ago and had an amazing time, specifically loved the parmesan shrimp and sirloin. We decided to visit once again tonight and my opinion has completely changed. Besides the 45 minute wait for our food in a half empty restaurant, my steak (which was ordered medium rare), came out extremely rare. When requested to get it cooked again, the manager (didn’t get her name but she had red hair and a blue outfit) came out. Rather than apologize and ensure that it would be made better, she looked my girlfriend and I dead in the face and insisted that it was medium rare, insinuating that me and the other three people at our table had no idea what we were talking about like we hadn’t all just touched the cold interior. They took the steak back to be cooked again for another 15 minutes before coming back out. I would like to say I do not blame our waitress whatsoever, however that manager behaved in an unacceptable manner and ruined my appetite. Needless to say none of our party will ever be back here again, and I hope whoever works here who sees this can rectify the situation by sitting down with the manager and having her understand where she acted poorly.

Do yourself a favor and skip Applebee's. Went in to eat. Ordered a cheeseburger. Waited over 30 minutes. Burger comes. It is cold. No tomato. No pickles. Fries cold. Waitress said te kitchen was behind yet restaurant wasn't even half full. This was a total waste of my time. I left. No dinner. Now I have to find a place that I can get a simple burger from some place that actually cares about food quality. Total disappointment. Last time I visit this place.

First time on 4th Street Applebee's I never have a dull moment when it comes to an atmosphere the great prices and the great customer service. Wish they never closed down the one in Pinellas Park.
