Classic Italian table wine. Spiced cherry and raspberry mix with a hint of tobacco on the nose and palate. This is light in feel and driven by a tangy line of acidity, supported by a frame of fine, sandy tannins.

Rich and velvety aromas of floral notes with tones of lavender, dried berries and baking chocolate. Silky round entry with acid to balance the high fruit concentration.

A well of dark cherry, black currant and blackberry fruit makes this red sumptuous and inviting. Fresh earth, thyme and rosemary accents add depth. A mineral element emerges on the long finish. Shows fine balance overall. Merlot, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot and Syrah.

Garnet red. Intense and persistent, fruity (strawberry and black cherry) with a winy note and wood flavour. Medium body, good tannins and well-balanced.

A crisp, fresh style of Barbera featuring aromatic, ripe plummy fruit flavors blended with notes of earth and spice.

Represents the full expression of Sangiovese, the typical ruby red color tending to garnet reflects the tradition of this vine. We arrived early and they were able to seat us anyway. The service was great. The stracciatella caprese is amazaing- I went back this time for that reason! But had to remove one star - my husband had Mike's Seafood Pasta, but the clams had not been cleaned properly so there was a lot of sand in the dish- not pleasant.

I might have to move to St. Petersburg so I can keep eating at Bavaro's! Outstanding service/recommdations by our waitress Jennifer. The pizza, especially the crust, is perfection. The homemade pasta dishes-superb! We will definitely eat here again when we return to St Petersburg!!

This week my family was in St Pete for my grandsons baseball tournament. Not being the greatest of planners we found ourselves wanting a dinner together with 11 people on a Friday night. Not a reservation to be found! I found Bavaros and I'm so glad I did. The place was packed, but Christy ( our lovely server) handled us perfectly and with great humor for our picky eaters. The good was very good, the outdoor seating lovely and the service excellent. I would highly recommend.
