The atmosphere is lovely besides the dog barking and growling at every person that's not cool.we looked for plugs to plug in laptop couldn't two tables out back occupied by people who are probably there till close. Not as big as it looked i the picture crowed stuffy. Outside patio was nice. Would ve nice to have happy dogs there . Probably won't go back

All these Kava bars are categorized by Google as restaurants or alcohol bars or coffee shops it seems. So most of the rating questions don’t apply.Having said this, this is my favorite Kava/Kratom bar in the St. Pete/Tampa area. The staff is all very friendly and even more so as you become a regular.It can get busy and sometimes there is a line to wait in during rush hours, but nothing to deter you from coming in. It just means it’s popular and they serve great products.Don’t forget to try Evie’s Bakery items in the display case. All home made by a local. Some are vegan, some are not, but every single thing I have tried has been crazy delicious.There is a lot of free parking right out front which is nice, it’s pet friendly, and vape friendly indoors and cigs allowed outside on the large covered patio area/back yard; also great for friendly dogs.Working remotely here is great if you don’t have to take any calls. There are plenty of outlets, free fast wifi, and quite a bit of seating for laptop users including couches.Each kava tender plays their own selection of music, which helps keep the environment interesting.Note for remote workers only:I do wish they would keep the volume down during business hours, especially the bass. It’s basically impossible to take a business call or zoom meeting without my manager and coworkers asking to repeat myself or asking why it’s so loud where I am. Since the music is loud, the patrons talk much louder which just adds to it. I would suggest business hours have much lower volume, and then around 5pm crank it back up. But that’s just a personal preference as a remote worker. I started going to two other bars more often during work hours. Or just working from home. If you’re not taking/making calls during work, none of the above applies.Overall, I love this place, and have made some good friends here and even reacquainted with some from years ago.I highly recommend their Kratom (not a kava drinker here), and their prices are some of the best around.

Love relaxing here while doing work, reading or just chilling with the husband. Very comfy, clean, welcoming environment that is super dog friendly. Our dogs love coming here to relax with us. Plenty of indoor seating and a ton of outdoor. There is even a doggy play area.

Muddy waters is great 5 stars all day. Good environment very chill. Good drinks. Recommend any kava/kratom drinkers check out when near. Can't go wrong.

I've been to quite a few kava bars/lounges. This is by far the best. There's always plenty of parking and indoor seating. The bathrooms are always clean (huge plus!). They also have a massive outdoor seating area and are super dog friendly (there's also a small fenced off area for dogs). The kava is good and I like that they have a mind-brew, body-brew and 50/50 as well as an assortment of other drinks. I've never had to order from a grumpy kavatender, instead they are always patient and welcoming and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is comfortable amd the music is typically on-par. There's only been a couple times when the music was obscenely vulgar but otherwise this is the spot to go to.

Wow! This is the best functional coffee shops for dog lovers I have seen in St Pete and the entire Tampa Bay area! My husband and I have a slight addiction to coffee so we are always trying new coffee shops. When I heard another dog mom say how great this place was to get work done AND bring your dog, I made a visit. Inside: several bar stools for the loners, several tables for the workers and a couple of couches for the friends and lovers. Dogs must stay on leash inside. Outside: LARGE covered patio with several tables and a couch. The outdoor space is quite lovely bc plenty of shade at all times and all the lovely plants. Dogs are allowed OFF LEASH!! So what about the coffee? It was good! Not exceptional just very good. They do have an extensive tea collection and kava too which I did not try.

The kratom is great. The service was great. It's a good little spot. I'm a very, very picky kratom tea drinker. If this stuff had been nasty or gritty, I wouldn't have drink it, it's clean and got a kick. I drink it without flavor, I imagine with flavor it's even better. It's very clean and well strained.

I didn't stay long. I showed up to pick up a friend. It was my first time here specifically and I frequent kava bars a lot. This kava was really hard to drink super muddy I had to waste it. I enjoyed the mind kava but the 50/50 was too gritty for me. I wouldn't try it again.
