So, the fish tacos are good... Wish there was more fish in them though, especially for the price. Plenty of good, legit taco joints around these days. So, you really need to be on point. $14 for a couple tacos, drink, and chips is steep. Especially if you leave hungry. The drink selection is weak unless you love sugar. Staff is friendly and service was good. That's always a plus.

Post-soccer game lunch on a Sunday. There was no wait. We got the gourmet shrimp tacos and the coastal trio. Everything was delicious! The gourmet shrimp tacos should have a fan club. The manager was super friendly. Can’t wait to bring our team back to this area so we can hit up Rubios again.

Ordered a veggie burrito and a salmon burrito. The veggie burrito had white rice (about 90%), black beans (8%) and red pepper skins (2%). There were a couple of corn kernels. No sour cream or cheese on either. The salmon burrito had salmon, rice, and black beans...no veggies nor sour cream nor cheese. What, a burrito without sour cream and cheese?? The salmon was not a very quality grade - it was fishy. Oh wait there was a smattering of guacamole on one of the burritos. I was hoping to get a couple of servings of veggies but ended up with mostly empty carbs. Never going back.

Such a disappointing experience tonight. This is usually the best Tampa Bay Area location, but tonight it was awful in every way. Our order of the "taco Tuesday" specials (2 coastal trios) took nearly 25 minutes to get to our table. When I noticed several parties who had ordered after us had received their orders & inquired if perhaps our order had been lost, I got an unbelievably arrogant & defensive answer from Crystal. She was, if possible, even more rude & defensive when she finally delivered our meals. We went to the salsa bar expecting the usual great selection of toppings only to find empty bins of limes and onion/cilantro mix as well as scrape-the-bottom-of-the-barrel bins of 3 salsa varieties. And to top off this miserable dinner, our mahi tacos were inedible (like salt-crusted fish jerky) & our shrimp tacos were also wildly over salted. The original fish tacos were the only part of our meal we could enjoy. We could have dealt with the poorly prepared food if Crystal hadn't provided such abysmal customer service. It will be a long time before we visit the 22nd Ave location of Rubio's again, if ever.

Consistently excellent food done quickly. I'm trying to eat more healthy but do everything possible to avoid the good food I should be eating. Rubio's fixes that for me as they provide a delicious bowl or burrito, etc. with seafood, veggies, greens, etc. all in a balanced and delicious meal.
