I believe in taking the advice of your local bartender on where to go next. Bartender at Voodoo Brewing (also a good spot) pointed me here. 7pm on a Wednesday night, it’s a clean local watering hole with A+ old fashions. Somehow it’s prime rib night which is delicious and exceptionally priced. Service has been awesome, drinks strong. This would be somewhere I’d point my friends to have a great night with great bang for your buck well made cocktails or $4 nattys and a late night kitchen. I wish every downtown area had this spot.

First time stopping in for lunch today 12/13/24 and had the vegan buffalo sammy and kohl slaw. It was excellent and I love their veg offerings. The couple well poured whisky drinks topped it off nicely. Always a great time and experience here!

Fun place! Great staff too! Dinner was deli. I had the baby 🐙 and chorizo which was fantastic! Others at the table had the filet steak and cheese which were also fabulous! The etoufee was also reported as excellent! Went as a pre-show dinner for Marcus King Band and went back for karaoke after the show. Will definitely make it back sometime to try some more of the menu! Thank you!

Our bartender Devin is the one to go to! Amazing service, great conversation, and made the overall experience really fun. Love her and the only reason I keep coming back.

Devin made the best Espresso Chocolate Martini. Her personality and skill are unmatched. Made my Husband and I feel at home.

The food is good, but the portions are a bit small and the price is a bit high

Great music playing. Attentive and kind staff. Excellent cocktails I had the house old fashioned. And the Cuban sandwich and beans and rice. This place was great and made my night!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! Good prices, friendly staff, decent bar selection. I wish they weren’t splitting tips and everyone taking care of all tables though, we got forgotten.

In town just for the evening, visiting from Canada. The Galley was amazing, full menu, open late with a cool vibe. The Ceviche with grouper, The T.B. Cuban and The Don Pollo chicken sandwich were spectacular. The servers Juan and Brent were friendly, professional and personable. They both went above and beyond, we had a great night, highly recommend! Delicious food, service and location.

Much more variety than the run of the mill bar/tavern....

The menu is surprisingly varied from "bar food". So tired of the menus that have fried everything and nachos seven ways. That is not this place. They have seasonal menus and I had a delicious brat on a a pretzel role with hot German potato salad - the best I have ever tasted.
Service was friendly but could have been more attentive. We asked for a few things that never happened but we were there for almost four hours for Sunday afternoon football. All in all, would definitely return.

I've been coming to The Galley for years.
It's good for a quick lunch in the middle of the work week, sports night or if you need a place to chill out a bit while barhopping downtown.
Sports nights can get a bit crowded and loud but it's nice to see some hometown spirit and on the weekends it is definitely a staple for the local college crowd.
The food is always hot and the beer is always cold.
The employees are always friendly and take the time to make you feel seen even during their busier times, a few bartenders/waiters in particular most definitely never fail to go the extra mile.

Jason the Bartender was awesome and he makes the best Expresso Martinis. The food was amazing. We had the Grouper sandwich and the Don Pollo

First time here, ordered zucchini fries and the don pollo sandwich. The food was terrible, took a bite of each and didn’t want to have anymore. Very oily and flavorless. Wouldn’t go back for the food anytime soon.
