Quite a few vegetarian choices that can be made vegan by leaving out the Yoghurt Raita Sauce. However, since they don't have a non-dairy Raita available, this leaves you without the taste of this typical Indian garnish on your meal. I would also like to see Roti offered as a non-dairy alternative to the Buttermilk Naan. Otherwise, the food is generally well prepared and flavorful, but too oily for our taste.
Wow—this restaurant blew my taste buds away! It was so delicious and satisfying. They put a fabulous twist on traditional Indian cuisine. I loved my chicken tikka masala bowl...the fresh spinach, chickpeas, and slaw were a great compliment to a familiar meal I would usually order. I totally recommend this place and will be back often!

I eat a ton of Indian food, and while this place was pretty different than traditional Indian restaurants, it was really good! Fluffy rice, flavorful deep rich chicken Tikka masala, bright cabbage with acid to give some relief, perfectly tender chickpeas, fresh micro herbs on top, naan bread super fluffy, I'm really impressed.

My favorite Indian spot in all of St. Pete. Do not sleep on the samosas and Serrano hot sauce.
Kid-friendliness: Family style community table right in the middle of the dining room is great for bringing the whole family out to eat.

Love the Indian food here! We are usually skeptical of non traditional Indian restaurants, especially being Indian, we are critical of flavor. I have to say, this place is a flavor bomb. Yes the options are limited, but everything is made so well, I would come back and still not be bored.
After trying everything on their menu, we recommend the chicken tikka masala, the lamb, seiten korma. And must try is the yogi fries. Either way, you won’t be disappointed whatever you try.
FYI: if you like it spicy, ask them for their sauces, both sauces pack some heat. More than you would anticipate.

I don't eat out in restaurants anymore, unless it's cuisine I know I can't make at home. When I heard about TWISTED INDIAN, I knew I needed to go. It's delightful in every way. ?Nice decor, friendly counter person took my order.I went with the " Bollywood Bowl" ( beautifully sectioned out in a large bowl) and selected TOFU as my pick for protein.I wanted to take a photo ,that's how delicious and colorful my bowl looked. It was YUMMY and healthy . I will definitely be back. Met the co owner and she too is a delight.

If you somehow manage to enter this restaurant and exit without purchasing SOMETHING, you have the strength of 1,000 soldiers. Just the aromatics and spices in the air get my mouth watering. My go to is the lamb keema Bollywood Bowl with a Mango Lassi. I've never been disappointed. The presentation (even in to go containers) is beautiful. The food? Delicious, filling and flavorful. The portions? Generous. I usually have some to eat later and it still tastes delicious cold after being refrigerated. Twisted Indian is a real gem. If you're not into spicy food this may be a challenge for you. Nothing I've had is offensively spicy but if you're spice averse, try sampling a friend's dish to see how you like it.
The singular change that would improve my meal would be to bring back the chopped lamb instead of ground lamb. Otherwise 15/10. Truly.
