Food was decent but took a really long time. $11 a beer is steep, especially when the price isnt on the menu. 😒

I love BBQ! We have passed by this place several times and did not pay it much attention. My son wanted to take us there to celebrate a birthday and Father's Day. We were there at noon on Saturday, the server was very accommodating and put together a couple of tables for our party of six. I had iced tea for my drink, and it was excellent fresh brewed lots of ice. I wanted to get the ribs, but the server said that there were not enough left for a full order. I was really bummed because I do love bbq ribs. My son ordered the Mac and cheese for his side and was told that was the last one left. I was really surprised that on a Saturday at noon they were out of 2 items. Maybe they had more ribs on the smoker ? But no Mac and cheese? My wife and I had the brisket. It comes with a bun to make a sandwich, but we declined the buns. The meat comes in a Styrofoam cup. The brisket IMHO was too fatty and tasted like it was marinated. That said, I'm not a big brisket fan. My son loved it. The collard greens were excellent, and the cole slaw was good. We also got an order of fried green tomatoes that were excellent and fried pickles. The prices and portions are reasonable. Our server was very efficient and kept our drinks filled. Next time we decide to go there I would call ahead to make sure that have plenty of ribs.

We went by Sunday and had a great time. It's family friendly, we had pulled pork sandwhich, brisket, baked beans and mac n cheese. They have a kids menu as well. Good price and delicious food, can't beat that. We will be back to try the ribs!

Quintessential small town BBQ. The 3 meat combo lets you try some of the fare. The ribs, pulled pork, and brisket were DELICIOUS. The Mac n cheese and the baked beans were on point. Great service too!! Thanks for everything.

As you read my reviews you see I travel the state for work and find local grub spots. On-Q BBQ gets a five star from me! Ordered the brisket sandwich and told Amanda my hostess that I am very picky on brisket as most folks are! Sandwich had plenty of meat on it for the price and the taste was awesome. The cut was from the lean side and extremely tender which most pit-masters have a hard time getting that right. Accompanied by some awesome sweet potato fries made for a great lunch. If you are in the area and reading this review then don’t hesitate to pull in and get out of your car to enjoy some of the best BBQ I have in a while! Was so good forgot to take a pic of the sandwich! Enjoy!

Was told they were sold out of ribs at 3 on a friday afternoon. Ordered a burger platter, food was barely average. I would recommend Burger King or Wendys before going to this place.

The best homemade BBQ in town! If you are a local or visiting the Mirada Lagoon and are craving some good old BBQ, this is your stop! The customer service is amazing, and I recommend the ribs, brisket, beans, and mac n' cheese. ?

Not from the area so stopped by for a quick bite after a dropping by tree hoppers and let me tell you: Sara is very sweet and attentive, I’ve gone across the country traveling barbecue and the brisket here is top three reminds me of my grandma’s recipe (it’s Alabama style too so keep that in mind). Would definitely recommend this gem
