Shyqueena was friendly and efficient at the drive-thru. She checked my receipt twice to make sure all of my items were included. When she realized I would have a little bit of a longer wait, she politely showed me where to park to wait for my order. Her smile and good attitude helped to make this a positive experience.

My fiancé & I came for dinner from Volusia county side. The younger girl who took our order was super sweet and very attentive. We got the tender boxes with fries & one with okra and an extra side of the biscuits. All of our food was prepped fresh fried while we waited and not grabbed from the heat lamp! Amazing visit. Will visit again soon! 🤞

I never got my food delivered and they charged me for it so now I’m fighting to get back my refund get back my money because they never delivered it and they charge me for it And I cannot get a hold of Texas churches chicken because their phone is disconnected. How can you do business like that?

I received an email deal through the Church’s app and decided to stop by, but the experience was terrible. I waited over 20 minutes in line for just a 2-piece chicken order, with only one car ahead of me. When I got to the window, the “deal” from the email wasn’t even available. Instead, the window showed a better deal that actually came with a biscuit and a jalapeño — yet they had me purchase the email deal anyway.
On top of that, the customer service was unacceptable. The cashier kept repeating “wait a minute” without any explanation, and the manager had an attitude rather than trying to help. No courtesy was offered for the long wait or wasted time. My entire break was gone over a small order of chicken, which is ridiculous.
This was a very disappointing experience. If you’re going to promote deals, honor them — and at the very least, provide better communication and service.
Online order, Smokehouse 1/2 chicken was over cooked to burnt. Terrible food..also ordered tenders special..was perfect. How do you serve a burnt 1/2 chicken to anyone?!

Are you looking for some dang good chicken, biscuits to drool over, and staff with pride and manors? If so this is your spot! The lady and gentleman working today 7/13/2025@1230pm were hustling some bird, serving drive through, pickup, and walk in’s quickly and professionally. The building might not be the newest thing in the block but it was clean and the toilet sparkled like it was scrubbed with pride. I was also impressed that the cook was coming up to help customers with a great smile and excellent down south manors. Screw new fast food with big touch screens and robotic staff. Come here to be treated like you matter and leave with a belly full of yum yum.
