Great prime rib and the vegetable medley is delicious. Big shout out to our server Sarah for being quick, friendly and super attentive.

Went in with a party of four. The service was bad. When they brought our food to our table. We had to as for silverware. I was told i should try the pork chops. I did. They were overcooked. When the server brought us more water or ice tea I had to ask for ice. The tea was more hot tea. Not ice tea. A big guy Patrick came to our table a few times. But nothing changed. It wasn’t that busy. A good bit of the tables were empty and had not yet been cleaned. It was very disappointing. Our server was the dishwasher Patrick mad it a point to tell us. As long as I been going there I was very disappointed. If that is the way it’s going now. It won’t last long. Robert Batten sr

Came here with my dad for his birthday & Julia was our server. She was absolutely amazing, cracked jokes with us, made sure our drinks were refilled & even brought out ice cream & sang happy birthday. 10/10

My wife and I have been coming here for 30 years because it’s been so wonderful and never had a bad experience and the food was always excellent. The place is under new ownership and it shows and not in a good way! We come here specifically for the filet kabob for 30 years and yesterday was awful. It was half the size it used to be. All the food was cold. The baked potato is no longer loaded but only sour cream and butter. The croutons are no longer home made. The cheesecake no longer comes with the strawberry purée or whipped cream. It’s all just bland now and not worth the price! The service was horrible which never happened before! I had to get up and get knives from the back of the restaurant so we could cut our steaks because our server Abby was no where in sight for a long time and the place was slow! We gave her a 22% but she didn’t deserve it. We were shocked and sooooo disappointed. Unfortunately after 30 years we won’t be back. ?

Understand that change will happen, but it is not always for the best. Some things that are not broken should not be fixed. Put Buster back in his bar!

This is the best burger I've had in the Orlando area. The owner grinds the meat in the kitchen. The steaks are also very good. Fresh hand cut fries come with the burger and taste amazing. Highly recommended. I've been eating here for 20 years and have never been disappointed.

Nice little restaurant however it is in the middle of renovations. Kinda a dated looking place with a rustic look. Maybe the renovations will perk it up. The owner/manager actually apologized right away for it so good for him.

Service was just so so. The waitress gave no mention of the happy hour specials, had to ask 3 times to get lemons for our waters. She was nice and pleasant, just not very great at being a waitress.

We ordered the blackened white fish dinner and the sliced prime rib sandwich. We also got their "rattlesnake" bread. The bread doesn't look like a rattlesnake, it doesn't taste like rattlesnake and it didn't appear to have any rattlesnake in it. Probably just a name they have for it. ? The Caesar salad dressing was tasty but there were tomatoes in it. Both dishes came out cooked nicely and hot. The fish was tasty, the sandwich was good but lacked flavor. Was hoping either the prime rib was seasoned more and/or the au jus was more seasoned. Fries were good, nothing commercial about them, seemed home cut. Not a fan of their ketchup.

Cost was on par with other restaurants like this one. Their automated check system calculated the tip correctly on the subtotal. We did choose a paper receipt but none printed and our waitress was already done with us.

Our experience at Colorado’s Steakhouse was nothing short of exceptional .For the main course, I opted for the ribeye, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. The server was attentive and we had a wonderful time , will be back again soon !!

Amazing meal tonight at Colorado’s. New ownership have really stepped up the quality of the food, and amazing hands on service. New large screen TV’s at the bar made it a perfect place to watch our local Lake Mary little league team win the US championship, as well as NFL pre season games.
I had the 8oz filet that melted in my mouth, cooked perfect medium rare as ordered. Carpet has been removed in the restaurant tells me that great things are to come.
If you are looking for a great local spot for great food, service and your favorite beverage this is the place to come!

I'm heartbroken at seeing the decline of this Sanford staple of more than 3 decades. Dwayne Pratt (the founding owner) passed away last summer and his wife partnered with new owners and it is no longer the same restaurant that brought in regulars and kept the same staff for 30 years. Most of the old staff left when the new management took over, and I can see why. It's nothing like it used to be. There was a busboy wheeling a cart around the restaurant all evening, which made a lot of noise and was pretty gross. It felt like we were at a cheap diner. The owner was walking around to tables in a T-shirt and Crocs; the wait staff were dressed more professionally than he was. When my water was low, the server refilled it from another glass (spilling water on the table) rather than bringing me a fresh one or even refilling it from a pitcher. Buster, the focal point of the bar, has been moved off to the side wall and replaced with big screen TVs. The bar area used to be a place for people to talk but now it just looks like a sports bar rather than the gathering place it once was.

What made Colorado's special is now gone. The people that helped Dwayne build it, Jeff, Ruben, Veronica, Pete, Jesse, and Anne have all left or been fired. Most of the regulars have stopped going there. No more homemade croutons, dressings, soups, or fresh fries. Our server told us that the owner increased the quality of the steaks but we couldn't tell the difference. What my husband and I did notice was the decrease in the quality of the service and atmosphere. What used to be a welcoming and friendly restaurant felt more like a roadside diner at steakhouse prices.

I have been a regular customer of Colorado's for 20 years, worked there for 3, and have celebrated many occasions there, including my rehearsal dinner. I cried at the table last night remembering what it once was, and cried again as I left knowing I would never return. Please stop pretending this is the same restaurant that we have loved for 30 years and just change the name altogether. You aren't carrying on Dwayne's legacy; you are ruining it. Let Colorado's go and just rebrand instead of destroying it. It's disgusting how the new owners are stealing the reputation that Dwayne built and not even honoring the service and ideals that mattered most to him.

Food is worth a trip maybe but the prices and accuracy, no. Placed a pick up oder for 2 chuckwagon salads (comes with ham strips and chicken) added extra chicken and feta cheese to both plus 2 banana bread pudding dessert. Arrived and bill is $56.. I tip $11. Get home and there's no dessert in the bag. I call and she says because she didn't even put it on my order. so I begin to question my total.. I have two $28 salads that look like a typical salad. I learn that I paid
$6 for extra chicken per salad (if I hadn't added that I suppose I would've gotten 3 bites of chicken) and $4 for feta cheese per salad (that's about 40 cents per speck of cheese).
I paid TWENTY DOLLARS EXTRA for chicken and cheese in these average looking salads. I could've just bought a 3rd salad for cheaper and had more lol. Very disappointing. Won't go back and yes in the future I'll definitely ask what's the cost for "extra", how many ounce is standard, and how many ounce is extra. Learning
