The owners here are amazing. We had a wonderful time drinking and talking to them. Will be back.
Excellent, fresh beers brewed in house and a fantastic selection of international wines. Cool location in the heart of downtown Sanford.
Community Brewhouse is the kind of place that keeps us coming back again and again. The beer is consistently excellent, with a thoughtful rotating selection that always has something fresh and fun. On our most recent visit, I had the Alien Space Juice (a hazy NEIPA at 6.4% ABV that was raw, juicy, and bursting with hop flavor), while my wife enjoyed the Squirrel Chaser (a 5% golden lager, crisp and classic). Both were fantastic. The service here is truly off the charts. Gabe and Ernie are behind the bar and are warm, welcoming, and the kind of people who make you feel like family the minute you walk in. Jose is also outstanding, attentive and genuinely friendly and a marketing genius. That level of hospitality sets Community Brewhouse apart. We also have to give a shout-out to Gary, one of the brewers. Once we tried his Beerless Shadow beer, which comes with one of the best backstories we’ve ever heard. The name comes from a real brewery mishap: a pipe opened and blasted a pressurized stream of beer across the room. Gary happened to be standing in the line of fire, and when it stopped, the wall behind him showed a perfect silhouette where the beer hadn’t landed. That outline became “Gary’s Beerless Shadow.” We love grabbing a pint and sitting outside for a game of cribbage. On 9/24 we had the chance to attend their wine & cheese kickoff event. It was a wonderful expansion of what they offer: Tom, the “Sanford Sommelier,” curated a lineup that included Cava, Loire Sauvignon Blanc, Mencía, Chilean Carmenere, and a reserve Cab/Carmenere blend. These aren’t the typical value wines you’d expect to see at a brewery. Real thought went into the lineup, the prices were very affordable, and the cheese pairings were spot-on. It’s exciting to see them growing beyond beer into wine, while still keeping that neighborhood, community-driven vibe. Highly recommend Community Brewhouse, whether you’re into craft beer, good wine, or just good people!

Community Brewhouse is a true gem! The beers are fantastic, the wine selection and prices are great, and the staff is always on point. Definitely a must-visit spot in Sanford. Highly recommended!
Some of the best beers I’ve ever tried! I ordered three different beers and each one was outstanding. This place is truly a hidden gem.
The iced mocha was simply magical - far better than a place I won't mention by name (rhymes with MoxDail). Cute space, comfortable chairs, super friendly staff. Give it a visit!
Best brewery and beers is town! and the great vibes as well!

Bonus: they offer a military discount which I really appreciate as a veteran. Definitely a go-to brewery in Sanford! 🍻🇺🇸

Oh and the beers are amazing. You need to visit this place!
Our family loves this place. Very low key and comfortable with gaming consoles for the kids. Come here and enjoy tasty beer while feeling at home!
Can’t say enough about this place. Aaron was the sweetest and nicest person and so knowledgeable. We were able to talk to him while enjoying beers and it was so personal. 10/10!!!!!
I had the best time at Community Brewhouse. Miranda was the best bartender and hostess I have experienced at a brewery. She is very personable and enhance my experience. I would recommend her for any future patrons. I will recommended this business to my peers based of the hospitality and vibes she provided. 5 out of 5. Would recommend
