My aunt and I came into the depot last night to grab seafood from The Current and ended up trying out Dharma after speaking with Alpha and Skye. Their customer service was phenomenal and the quality of the food matched! Sorry to hear they're closing down but glad we got to try it before they leave the depot!

Located inside Henry's Depot, a hall with lots of food/coffee/ice cream/cocktail options, Dharma southern kitchen is probably my favorite place in the food hall! Their food tasted so delicious and even better that the menu is entirely plant based! I visited on a Saturday evening, and it was reasonably busy with just a few available seating options inside and outside. I did not have to wait long to order or get my food here. I tried the Orange bird with a side of traditional Mac n cheese (total of around $17). It smelled so good that I was already halfway through the burger when I realized I hadn't gotten a photo yet! I enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back at another dharma location since this one is over an hour drive for me!

The Brew Burger was so insanely good that I was convinced I was being duped into having one of the best beef burgers of my life. The sides of vegan mac and taters were amazing as well. Alfa and the guys in the kitchen are cooking up some of the most savory vegan eats in Downtown Sanford, dare I say, in Seminole County. Will go again for sure!

The food is good, their dressing over most dishes is pretty tasty however very few (1) gluten free options.

The Mac and cheese is fire! You can't even tell that it is vegan. I love the jackfruit sandwich as well, so good! The portion sizes are good. It's really amazing food even if you aren't vegan.

Once again excellent food. Hubby and I decided to visit dharma in Stanford and purchased the classic orangebird and we decided to do something different and tried the blue chicken nachos which was awesome . Service was awesome , thank you Alpha , your suggestion for the nachos was spot on! Alpha was very nice and provided the best customer service. What more can a lady ask for beyond awesome food and service! Definitely will return back to this location.

I really can't believe it's taken me this long to leave a review, but I like to go somewhere at least three times before I give my opinion. But every single time that I've gone to Dharma Southern Kitchen has been amazing!I've had a great experience each and every time. You don't even feel like you're eating vegan food because their chicken is so delicious (not sure which veggie it is), they have grilled Brussels sprouts (amazing), the cheese fries are so good, too! But the tea that they make? Oh my god! People should write poems about it, it's so good! The food is relatively inexpensive, and it's really cool eating in the dining hall. You're always greeted immediately. They're also located right across from the Greenery Creamery, so after you get done eating food you can hop over there and get a vegan dessert!

First time trying this place (I'm not vegan but try to do meatless a few days a week) and was pleasantly surprised! Definitely got comfort food/southern fare vibe. The food was flavorful and texture on "chicken" sandwich was close to the real thing. Order was fresh and hot, 4 stars because the crispy Brussels weren't crisp, however they were still caramelized and delicious! Definitely worth checking out!

11.49 My family and I visited Henry's Depot in Sanford, Florida last night. We ordered two items from Dharma Southern Kitchen. First, the server was extremely rude to each one of us who interacted with him. Secondly, the food was a huge disappointment. I ordered The Dharma Chopped, expecting a salad. The menu states it contains: "Baby kale, cabbage & romaine topped with cucumber, charred corn, watermelon radishes &pretzel croutons." I received a bowl of large kale leaves (not baby kale) not chopped. No knife was provided as a utensil. How was I supposed to eat a bowl of raw tough kale leaves with no knife? The "beet chow chow" was simply a few pieces of chopped beets with the smallest hint of marinade. The pretzel croutons were huge. I could not identify the ingredients of the Dharma dressing, but it was so thick that it did not spread through most of the salad. The result was a bowl of pretty dry tough raw kale with a few bites of the other ingredients. Nothing about this dish was Southern. I threw most of the "salad" away. My daughter ordered the Big Blue Chick'n Nachos and I won't even try to describe the weird seasoning that dominated that dish. Four of us tried to share the nachos but we threw away almost the entire tray. We ordered items from another vendor at Henry's Depot and enjoyed them. Never ordering again at Dharma's Southern Kitchen.

I've tried their location in Henry's Depot, Sanford, and on "market on South" and let me tell you; if you're looking for some amazing comfort food but vegan-style, this is the place to check out! They have an amazing variety of food and my favorite is definitely their burgers. This is by no means fine dining, you just pick up the food yourself and eat with paper utensils. Perfect for a day when you just don't feel like cooking.

Aaaahmazing Southern food! Alpha, the manager, is so kind, helpful, and KNOWLEDGEABLE! I had lots lots of questions and loved everything he suggested! Sincerely cannot use enough exclamation points for this place!!! A lot of vegan fried chicken gets a little heavy, but this was HEAVENLY. Can't wait to go back!

I had the fried chicken, cheesy curly fries, biscuits, and cauliflower. It was all fantastic. I grew up on Southern Food and it's one of my absolute favorite cuisine genres, and they nailed it in a unique way. Highly recommend!

Wow, amazing food! It's hard enough to find vegan options while traveling let alone a full vegan restraunt. It was hard to choose an option because all the options looked amazing, Alpha was able to answer all the questions and I ended up with the Chikn nachos. Thanks again for making my experience great Alpha you are awesome!

All vegan food and the beer bartered burger and BBQ cauliflower side was excellent. Super tasty and not dry. Very irregular drinks but that can be a good thing.

Oh my goodness, this place was such a treat. My husband and I aren’t vegans, but we left this place thinking we could definitely give it a shot! We tried the Brew Burger, BBQ Cauliflower, and Brussels Sprouts. Everything was AMAZING. And special shout-out to Alpha for making this incredible meal and the awesome customer service we received. If we lived in the area, we would make it our mission to try everything on the menu.
