Can’t call and order because they don’t accept phone calls . Also their hours of operation are publically posted ( 12:30 pm - 6 am) one day a week which makes zero sense . And on their Facebook they have a phone number posted that belongs to a random man that’s not affiliated with the restaurant. Said he constantly gets phone calls saying the same thing . Very bad business and very unprofessional

Stopped here with my mother before taking her to the Sanford airport. They feature a cafeteria style service. You have your choice of several main dishes / meats and then sides to accompany them. There is plenty of seating available. Food is served in large portions and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Next time I need to go to Sanford airport, I plan to stop here for a meal once again.

Absolutely amazing!! A must go to restaurant with great food and service. The nicest staff you'll ever meet, paired with the best homestyle cooking anyone will ever encounter. They have a great variety of food that switches up from day to day I believe.Everything there is fantastic
Two fried chicken dinners to go. A huge mistake that will not be repeated. All of the food was terrible - old grease; food sat out too long; overly sweetened or salted. Food was basically uneaten and thrown in the trash. A waste of $31.00. Never Again.

I've passed by Angel's so many times but for multiple reasons never had their food. That changed recently, when I was running an errand around diner-time and was undecided on what to eat. I happened to drive past Angel's on an empty stomach and something just called on me to go inside. Maybe it was the cute outside, maybe it was the incredible smells of food, maybe it was just meant to be. As I walk in, I noticed the interior was much larger than I thought it would be. It looks like a small hole-in-a-wall type of place but it's actually large. They have lots of space to dine-in and the interior décor was aesthetically pleasing. As soon as I walk into the establishment, I was warmly greeted by 2 women and I made sure to mention it was my first time so that I could hopefully gain some patience points since I had no idea what to order. Everything looked so good! They had all of your standard soul food fan-fare. All types of delicious looking meats complete with a wide array of sides that looked equally as good. I was told they has a special of 2 meats and 3 sides for $12.99. Looking back I should have probably gone with that special so that I could have tried another meat and another side. However, I decided to go with the smaller special of 1 meat and 2 sides for $9.99. I got the brisket (there was an upcharge of about $2) along with the mac-n-cheese and the yams. Maaaaaan, it was tasty! The brisket was tender and plentiful with a sauce on top that seemed like watery bbq. It actually complimented the meat perfectly. The mac-n-cheese was ok. It wasn't bad, it's just that I expected that home-style baked goodness with multiple cheeses and crispy corners so i was a bit disappointed. The yams were plain but were soft and tasted really good. It wasn't over-the-top with sweetness so I appreciated that. Overall, I was very happy that I tried out Angel's and even more happy that is so close to home! I can't wait to try the other meats and sides. Oh and sometimes they have signs out front by the roadway that says "Comedy Show" or "Karaoke" that is usually on the weekends. it would be nice to attend one of these events. I mean, local dinner and a show?!? ......Yes, please!

This unpretentious restaurant does a lot of take out...but also has seating. Dinner menu is three sides, two meats for $15. Large portions. A dinner is good size for two people...or you can add an add an additional side. Very friendly folks.great service. I have had southern food before....but this goes beyond just southern food. This is made with lots of soul and love.

The meats were wonderfully flavored but small portions left one feeling unsatisfied for the price paid. The girl serving us and a man from the back were extremely friendly and helpful but the parts of their game that were weak really keeps this place from rising up. I'll say again, their meats were tender and incredibly flavorful! Well done and top notch guys! But the heated water bottles from the non working fridge that seemed to be heating the bottled pop and waters, the over cinnamon, soupy and cool sweet potatoes and "doctored from the kraft box" tasting mac and cheese coupled with the lack of providing white meat chicken, left a cheapened takeaway feel that could easily be fixed. There is nothing cheap about the prices however! The sweet cornbread muffins were another strong point! Get the sides up to snuff, fix your shortcomings and you will have a place that i would love to recommend! Your brisket was phenomenal! Just too few pieces for the price that you're charging in my opinion. I have hopes for this place!

Excellent food and service. I have passed this place hundreds of times in the past and it never occurred to me to try this place. They have such great reviews on the internet. We decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was awesome and large portions. We had food to take home with us. Their brisket was perfectly cooked. Next time I want to try their meatloaf. The baked chicken was also seasoned perfectly. Highly recommended place to try. We will be back again soon.
